My hands wander a smooth cold wall
Knowing that it’s more than merely tall
Muffled emotions illuminate the air
Even when no one is there
But I’ve always been here
You just haven’t felt me near
So, I’ll meet you on the other side
Where there’ll be nothing left to hide
Because I refuse to leave
No matter what you care to believe
Stop trying to hide the longing in your eyes,
You’ve been noticed,
There’s nowhere to hide now.

Nature depreciates beauty with time
Talent is the beauty mask!
Solitary beauty attracts transient glory
Talented beauty enjoys lifetime luxury
is your faith so fragile
you **** to protect it?
no notes necessary

Ages ago, story of a girl
Dejected for what she looked
Thinking just fair and beautiful
Had rights to glory booked

Did not realize that beauty
Lies in the eyes of beholder
Always self deprecated
Life felt like a boulder

A breakthrough insight
Blind to the imminent change
Discerned beauty is not just looks
It's in wielding ones skill range

Dawn of this realization
Broke her sealed senses
Now she is her own favorite
Exploring life beyond fences

That's me:-)

Whatever, I thought were my hindrances to life, I turned them all into my assets now.

So, my learning is that everything is just a blockage in mind, banish the fear and you see life is just near......

My heart I bequeath you
O’ stillness of my universe
I bequeath you my sanity
Spreading this cloak of being in your dust
I bow to your twinkling stars
To the waxing sun and scented grass
I bow to your springing rivers
To the parched grain and blossoming flowers
I bow to the warmth of my lover
And want of my beloved
I bow to your saccharine figs
And honeyed nectar in chalice filled
I bequeath my mortality to your transiency
Blinded by this light in game of ruse
Into your cohesiveness, I fuse
In blinkers to win the race
Espying a king in glass
Presage of being a slave

Yet when darkness falls
I furl my cloak and solemnly rise
For I bow not then
To your barren fields and waning suns
I bow not to your garish colors,
To the cloying drupe and wilted blossoms
Bracing my feeble transience
With my tenet and trail of faith
I bow to the King of kings;
Whilst I beseech for emanating hope,
In my tigers clasp, my God’s rope
I beseech,
Till the noise becomes music again
And as I gaze in the glass now,
All I espy is a beseeching slave
True, the brightest light casts the darkest shadow but it is in darkest that brightest embers can be found.
"Inside the womb, silence whispers;
Darkness wombs the light
Raging storms give birth to light"

Our fate is storm,
We are the light
We are the raging storm
For all our conversations
It’s the silences I remember
Quiet times
In rooms together

You attentive to the preparation of a letter
an essay
or considering carefully,
music you're about to play

And me sitting on the sofa
Reading Carver or Whitman
Quietly appreciating your contemplation
Pretending only to be interested in what I'm reading

I do not tell you that your presence completes me
Or
How you feel from across the room

I do not say,
I am grateful for your company

A kiss to your nose
For you are as beautiful
As a rose

A kiss to your eyes
For you are as wonderful
As the sunrise

A kiss to your lips
For you are as mysterious
As the eclipse

But most of all, a kiss to you
For always being you

(this was my first attempt at poetry back in 1997, this was the first one saved, there were earlier poems before I never used to keep them)
