How can I be happy
and then become so sad
Look at everything as good
and then find it as bad
Stare out at the world today
and show a smiling face
Then look in the mirror and
I can not find a trace
How can so much joy I see
just disappear so fast
Maybe I’ll just go to sleep
and hope that this will pass
Just messing with some rhymes

I'm wearing stripes on top
With a black skirt
And a band of elastic
Across my waist.
I'm squished into this dress.
Not that it's uncomfortable,
It's just...uncomfortable.
I'm sitting in the backseat of a car
Mom wears polka dots on my right
My dad in a black shirt on my left.
We all press each other's elbows into each other,
Leaving indents.
I'm squished into this car.
And it's kind of uncomfortable.
My dad's hairy arms prickle and tickle me.

I have fallen in love
With an disease

The way it brings me warmth
As it burns my skin

The way it leave me speechless
As it makes my words a sin

The way it fills my veins
As it makes them feel hollow

The way it fills my heart
As it kills it will sorrow

The way it keeps me numb
As it slowly kills me

The way depression empties me
But somehow fulfills me
If you're slowly drowning
In a darkness all your own
just whistle and I'll find you
take your hand and lead you home.

If your heart it flounders
slowly tearing at the seams
know that I still hear it beating
in my melancholy dreams.

If your spirit lingers
at the edge of loving light
know that I will stay there with you
know that I will stand and fight.

We will roar at our oppressors
We will wrestle with the dark
so much light can be created
by a single, tiny spark.

Then from the depths we will emerge
in stronger, wiser form
to stand shoulder to shoulder
and face the coming dawn.

For love will always bind us
it holds us sure and true
and there is nothing stronger
than the love I feel for you.
If I got lost as a kid I was told to whistle so that I'd be found, any tune would do. I realise now that the whistling in itself was more of a comfort to me while lost than it ever was a means of finding me....I was a curious child, I got lost a lot..... some things never change.

You
You are yummy ice cream in my cone
I love to chat and call you over the phone
Your smile creates butterflies in my belly
I love looking into your eyes daily.

she was charming like a couple of adorable synonyms in a sentence,
yet so obscure like a quiet full-stop at the end of paragraph.
I keep wondering, about how long will I love you.

Write with me a thing of beauty
For everyone to see
To gaze upon our very souls
Together, you and me
Words that dance upon the heart
Like a feather on the skin
Feelings painted honestly
In hues from deep within
Write with me a thing so lovely
That everyone will know
The purest of emotions
In two hearts at once betrothed

Do you remember from so long ago
the sweet taste of my love

Do you still remember my scent
when you said
it felt like home

Forget the 'I love you's' spoken now
and the time you kissed my mouth

Forget the broken look in my eyes
from the day you left
Ed Sheeran inspired.
His line was 'Will your mouth remember the taste of my love'
