Here’s the deal with a girl like you
You’ll never love a man like me
But with everything that we’ve been through
I’ll still get down on one knee

I'll lay my knee on a million blades
Just to see a smile light your face
Maybe this is the kind of love God forbade
Or maybe I'm just being out of place.

Let us live in a wave of harmony
Together just me and you
Please repeat those magic words
I love you.
Most of the poem is from the genius mind of Hannah Leeper. Hannah is a great poet who writes powerful poems

A broken journey,
A tear stained path,
In some provokes love,
In some creates wrath.

A million miles,
A million tears,
Each with own's stories,
Most filled with fears.

A road chosen,
A mistake made,
I took a turn,
That can't be changed.

Mistakes came in many,
But the sun still remains in the sky,
And though the days get heavy,
Not every road remains awry.

The journey just continues on,
Many paths left to take,
These past roads have led me here,
But many choices are left to make.

Choose wisely the path you take,
Save yourself from another mistake.

The darkest fields, an interlude
to parallel sparkling, suspended
watching eye upon vermilion sky --
like a harbored god pretended.

Killing trees, roots eating deep,
my father mercilessly alluded:
branches high and branches wide
found the sky and intruded.
Pellets to the gun
I know this night hasn't been fun
Running out of excuses
On why I say no
But if I say anything
I glow
So what do I know?
I can never admit it
But you don't know how many times I've reloaded just to unload.

You know you're a poet
When you have walked the tightropes
Of being placed into a confined label
And still look up to a brighter sky of hope.

You know you're a poet
When you hear echoes of voices
That resonate within your mind
From all the mistakes and bad choices.

You know you're a poet
When you can see shades of colour
Within a black and white film
And see value beyond the dollar.

You know you're a poet
When the winter comes you cheer
For all the new found imagery
Like the sight of snow that is white clear.

You know you're a poet
When spring has arrived
You think of a spring in a step
and how a pen-spring is alive.

You know you're a poet
When heartbreak is motivation
For a chance to write sullen words
And heart ache becomes a wonderful creation.

they did
albeit
not much of one
they got bored
so they found
another fight
it happens
maybe next time
will be different..

this flickering heart
                    has been carved out
and framed

as light

              it beats
                 alongside winks of other lights
from otherwheres
where otherhearts too
                       are pictured there

           eat me

   ingest
   mine

filet of scarlight
for yours
       truly

   in these
darker times
so that you may see more

                                it's not much
                                 but it's all i have

Why are you lying there? Get out of the road!
You're a metal that won't ever corrode,
Why are you just lying there? GET THE **** UP.
There comes a time when ENOUGH IS ******* ENOUGH.
Stop lying there, a car will ******* crush you,
AND YOU WILL ******* SEE RED, NOT BLUE.
WHY ARE YOU LYING THERE? GET OUT
STOP MAKING ME HAVE TO SHOUT,
JUST SAVE YOURSELF, HELP YOURSELF.
YOU ARE NOT A METAL THAT WILL CORRODE,
YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT SO GET OFF THE ******* ROAD.

Her water is sweet
Her current always pulled me closer to make bigger waves
Then high tide came
And took her breathe away
