Torin
time is late
I go hungry today
changing fields
I can still see the sun for the moon
hold it fast
help me be a rising tide

changing fields

I can move
find where the birds have gone
changing lines
I know I can only ever find
what is shown
I stare at constellations

changing fields
changing minds
choosing truth
that I find
a field where there is game

that I eat
that I be full
                                  that we all eat
A sea of thoughts
Drowned  in the ocean
A cruise ship with lifeguard words
Sailed past with the crew
Heavy chested I breathe
as the moon whitewashes the night.

The season is changing
and in the wind is the vapor of hyacinth
in the thick of which
the glowworms drink the nectar of night.

They have no philosophy and I have many
like while they dance just for the sake of life
my mind enveloped in obscurity
has shackled my feet and clipped my wings.

I wonder if the glowworms have a mind
that knows when they dance
they have an audience.

Maybe the stars know the same way
when they twinkle.

Grumpy grey sky stares,
At the conquered water world;
Armies of clouds roar!
