buying a one way ticket
always seemed best

although many times
I could have saved a lot of money

to pour yourself out

a love potion

the poets muse

comes in many shades

unexpected

yet so familiar

You and I are miles apart
Passed thousands of streams
Down thousands of streets
Despite the difference
My heart always finds yours
My heart only belongs to you
and only you
I love you
You wake up and it's different
You've felt like this before
But something is different
You have the best feeling
In the world, you smile even
There's something different
Now, the feeling you had,
As the water hits your back,
So warm, so welcoming,
Is followed by the worst feeling
It's time to get off the Ferris Wheel
It's coming back around
You're a few seats back
The conductor eyes you
It got cold quickly
Time to go play
In a themed park
Being around you is too much for most
A hug is out of the question
Hand-holding, what a joke
Do you think I like you or something

I thought we were friends, man
Don't make it weird
This is getting out of hand
I think the end is near

I can't take you anymore, kid
we're just friends you got that
I don't want to be close to you
The farthest i'll go is a chat

I don't care that you deny you like me
I can see through lies
If you didn't like me you wouldn't want hugs
I don't think that applies
doesn't flow very well. whatever.

hello there, didnt see you
actually yeah, i saw you
with your feelings all over
romping and stomping

here, there, anywhere
you write on walls
cardboard and pads
do you want to say someting?
it seems like you do
sadly, this world overflows
with people similar to me
that care enough to hear
but not to listen

you might be this too
as we are mostly twos
theres more out there
morality, ambiguity
duality, promiscuity
cloves flowers and shovels
fires, pyres
death and smiles

i'll stop with love
halt on despair
with black dark sadness
dark sad blackness

stop

theres more to life
shooting stars
constellations, nebulas
mars and moons
time space
and e=mc2

hello? oh...
its ok to walk away
we're all used to this anyway

Waldo
When your soul dies,
When a mother cries,
When the law denies
Your right to be free.
You know that you're trapped
In a twisted reality.

When children are bombed,
Yet you're told to remain calm
'Cause the justifications are psalms.
Then you know the world's in the palm
Of the hand of a madman.
Or rather a group of men and women
With diabolical plans.

When your leaders are your enemies,
Families in control for centuries
Yet we still don't know their identities
As they pray to demonic entities?
Then you know it's all insanity
And you're in a dark reality.

When the law makers break the law,
When the carnage leaves you in awe,
When kids slit wrists until they're raw,
And  patriots become outlaws.
Then I know I've reached the decline
Of this "Great" country of mine

What has humanity been worth?
Not just the country also the Earth,
Was doomed to destruction from its birth.
Because of a parasite so evil,
With thought processes so medieval.

But as a wise man once taught me,
I cannot hate all humanity
For we are kept down on our knees
By the self-interested nature of you and me
