Take the pain of before
and hold on to it no more
Let the sound of the rain
drum out all the unwanted pain.
Forgive and Forget
like there's nothing left
Dream of better days
like flowers blossoming in May
And say goodbye
to everything that makes you cry.

Cold fingertips, cold glass.
Odd how the daily routine transformed
from normal to haunting
in seconds flat.

In an instant her face filled with stress,
eyes a window to things falling apart.
Slow movements made it seem
as if time had stopped.
Such a blank look on her face
made the heartbreak evident,
The drop of her fragile heart
could be felt with one glance.

Through the halls she moved
distressed;
tears clearly blocking her vision.
Pacing back and forth only caused
the small room to close in tighter.
An illusion.
Voices; a jumbled mess actually,
turned to white noise
rising louder and louder.
Still the ticking of the clock
stood out as immensely as her pain.

Such a sorrowful sound her crying was,
as it had appeared that she was
no longer breathing.

How could it be true?
An instant,
unbearable heaviness descended.
Her knees giving out,
the flowing of tears continuing
soundlessly as she sank
to the ground.

*21 is not supposed to be a year to die,
it is supposed to be the year to live.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

beating heart
throbbing brow
dying then
living now
make the most
of time you have
or you’ll regret it
later.

find a soul-mate
love them hard
give your heart
play that card
make the most
of time you have
or you’ll regret it
later.

care for one
they’ll love you
be as one
make life anew
make the most
of time you have
or you’ll regret it
later.

ignore advice
stay on own
lonely life
die alone
you made the least
of time you had
you did regret it
later.

Diving in the abyss
Of your blue eyes
The waves of love that
Had longed
To crash upon me
Reared up high
And gulped me
Probably not a good thing

Paint brush across my canvas,
The acrylics left
Nothing but a beautiful disaster"

Watch as the sun
Slowly slides over the horizon
Leaving behind a touch of
Pearly pinks, dusky purples
And vibrant hues of red
Ah there,
Battered dreams quickly wither
Darkness settles in,
The crystal envoys
Paint a portrait of
Pure serenity

Hope is reborn
Our destinies are within our
Reach as our dreams soon
Come to realization
It's a beautiful ambiance
And the solid gold
Paints over the Eastern side
And it's overwhelming beauty
Is welcomed by those
With expectations of
Bettering their present

The paintings on her wall,
Were like the timeline of her life.
Some were painted horribly,
To show her anger.
Some were painted white,
To show peace.
Some were painted Blue,
To show how the sadness acted like a veil over the happiness.
Some were painted black,
To show that she didn’t feel anything,
No pain,
No envy,
No happiness.
Some were painted of all shades,
To show that her life is a mix of all,
But then the paintings had splashes over of black and white,
To show,
Her life will have problems,
But there will be moments of peace,
Some of happiness,
But the shades in your life won’t leave you.
