I like to think I've seen,
my fair share of life.
A city man,
sculpted of concrete and steel.
My years on this earth may be yet,
short.
That life however,
opened my eyes to much.
I know about the lows of man,
about how far some of us will stoop.
About what it means to survive.
But,
You dragged me,
drunk and complaining,
out into the hills.
You sat me in the back of your truck,
and you showed me the stars.
I don't know if it was the urban lighting,
that burns eternally,
or just that I'd never looked.
But you showed me the stars that night,
in all their luminescent glory.
I will never forget that.
******' country girls man...
Flying off
to the
freedom fields.
To
catch
those
free
&
freeing
fireflies
with my
magic-magnetic
real-life
dream catcher.
a field of lilacs
near this stream
a field of wild horses
that it seems
that bring
this
field of dreams
Summer days are exquisite
long drawn out bliss
all holidays rolled into one
24hrs around the Sun.
Night here hardly falls
banished for a season
the black of space short lived.
Summer days are for the child
set loose once again
to play, to bask,
to lounge around the fire in the sky.
Sun Gate by moonlight
The Ruins below glimmering
Dream light  shines bright
Ancient magic shimmering

To our souls the dreamscape experience is real
Our Consciousness connected -- together we stand
So much unknown except what I feel
The flutter of my heart, the touch of his hand

We take flight through the mist
As the world below gleams
Adventure beckons and I can't resist
So Mountain Man became the Man of My Dreams
A Lucid Dream of Machu Picchu

I posted this on February 20th, but sadly today accidentally deleted it. So I am re-posting.  My gratitude and apologies to the hundreds of you who already read it, the dozens of you that already liked it, and those of you who commented, encouraged me, and honored me when you posted it on your pages or added it to your collections. Keep dreaming, Lucid Dreamers!
Look at those mountain.
Well, what about them?
Well, aren't they inviting?
Yeah, you could say.
You could also say that they are spaceships.
But they aren't.
And the mountains aren't inviting.

Swift as a cheetah
On its way to destruction
A great dark swirling mass
Of water,
Accompanied by the small minions
We call rain
And thunder
Lighting up the dark sky momentarily
