Nature has no poverty, wanton destruction or hatred
For she is nature
Man rips out the beating heart
With every saw cut and bite of Axe
With ever searing brand
That lights the fire of mans destruction

Humans, with their materialistic ways
Slowly draining away my beauty
It's almost the end of my days
Can't they see,
What every flower, river and tree,
Means to me?
I'm the mother of all nature
And my loves flows pure
But soon my love for life
Will no longer endure

You are the rain forest
The beating heart of life
And yet how long can you take the wounds
Caused by my lust and greed
Your heart, your beaten bleeding heart
For every drop of your precious blood
Humanity must die

You purposely destroy me
Use me
Cut out my heart, bleed me dry
Leaving me bare
Then walk away as I cry
Without a care
This is not new to me
Been happening for centuries
I think I've had enough now
I'm bringing a flood to watch you drown
Then a hurricane to bury you underground

Nature was placed here to serve me
You are neither master nor lord
And you serve in humility for the betterment of man
But I, I'VE
Chosen to use and abuse what you offer
It's not for me, the delicate surgeons cut
More the slash and hack
Of the untrained butcher
Me, oh me who drains the life blood from this earth

You deserve no more of what I can offer,
I will rain hail of fury upon my precious ground
Simply to watch you suffer
With all living things, I'm naturally bound
But I will destroy the soul of me
Just to watch you die with no mercy
I AM MOTHER NATURE
You will fear me
Bow down to me
Respect me
Care for me
Or you WILL all DIE in misery
Maybe next time, humanity,
You will choose how you treat me more carefully.
Wow, Joe Cole!
What. An. Amazing. Experience!
I truly feel blessed he'd want to collaborate with me.
Hope you all enjoy mother nature's wrath.

Moonlight at midnight
Weaves it's beautiful spell
As its kisses rain down
Like silken rose petals
Spreading love's glow
All around

Poetic T
The winds are blowing, the clouds
They collide in the heavens
White
Grey
Wisps
Like old friends
They meet, mix,
And take from each other,
Drop off some of there thoughts
That rain down below,
Drizzle,
Torrential,
Hail,
Snow,
Depending the feelings
Above,
To what will fall below,
They are always moving
Globe trotters,
They pick up
Moisture,
Hitchhikers,
Evaporation
Get there fill and then
Expel
In light hearted banter,
Or
In anger
Deluge
The ill prepared below,
Always look up and imagine
Where that wisp of vapour,
Will bring life or tragedy where they go..

the girlie man of Australian politics
had the term coined just for him
the tough man Arnie Schwarzenegger
from California was thinking of him

Bill Shorten is a *****
when it comes to fiscal matters
that's why his statements
on the budget are all in tatters

soft approaches toward
spending will never do
the nation's finances are in need
of a tightening *****

the treasury office stats
don't mislead of go awry
a salient tale they tell
about a well running dry

there are no Jesus Christ figures
in Canberra to divide the loaves and fishes
a certain amount is in the nation's war chest
which must fulfill the people's many wishes

the Shorten alternative economic policy
has great sieve holes in it
the nation's well being under it
would be rendered unfit

at the end of the day
the taxpayer always pays
so the ledger should be in balance
without any stalling delays

fiscal responsibility
is good for a nation's health
marshmallow centered Shorten
has no interest in stock piling our wealth

the forest floor is my bedroom

and for the brief moments  before the sun has woke

the forest is my sanctuary

my mind is silent

my heart full

and for those moments

I stop questioning

I stop processing

I am alive in the preset moment alone

I am free to just exist

and ****

how good it feels to just exist.

Never be afraid to make me laugh
Even if over time I ask you to stop
And I tell you you’re making me look older
Just brush that off.
I really do love the wrinkles that you’ve put around my mouth
And when I look at them I see tiny quotation marks
That remind me of all the things I have to say
And that all of those things I say are important enough
For you to quote me on
And as more time passes and those tiny wrinkled quotation marks
Get bigger and bigger and start to blend together around my lips
They’ll look more like parenthesizes
And I’ll really, really love those too
Because they’ll remind me that when I used to have to say, “I love you”
I’ll know that I love you is always implied.

betterdays
be still,
           be the small silent
                                        calm

be quiet,
       be the small watching
                                        mouse

be pliant,
               be the seed
                         spinning on
                     the wind

be memory
                  be the glint in
                             the wise old
                elephant's eye

be wisdom,
                 be the paradox of
                             the monkeys
                      three

be kind,
            for kindness needs,
                               to never be
             lost or neglected

be strong,
                 be passionate,
                for the world needs
                                strength
              and compassion
in order to grow.

but above all,
                      be love.....
            and allow love to be...

in all it's ....
        wonderful,
          guises and capacity's

and these my son,
                are just some
    of the steps

       in being a better man.....
written for my son Tod,
and now gifted to my friend
Ernesto, as he starts a new chapter....

I have this picture
In my mind
of a fairie
Sitting in the
Crescent moon
With her toe in a pond

STILL CAN'T SLEEP

let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now
let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now

let love anchor on the shining beams
let it flow through us as a crystal stream
let it stay till the end of time
let it ring within us as a dulcet chime

let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now
let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now

let love grow eternally in our hearts
let it array in each and every celestial chart
let joy be the wonder we'll get to know
let our affections always show

let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now
let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now

let our world be a place of love divine
let the planet's twosomes ever entwine
let love's song of endearing go on endlessly
let it rain its happiness so beautifully

let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now
let's catch the moonbeams
let's catch them now
