This is the second time in a month
I have cried so much today
Going through your things
deciding what to keep,
what to throw away?

It's like there's memories
attached to every single thing
Do I keep the china?
What about your wedding ring?

It's only been thirty days
I wasn't prepared for the extra pain
Throwing your Life away
Is like losing you all over again!
I'm being pushed to do this and I'm just not ready!

The Real Poets Here

are small craft
sailing between the narrows of crack'd lines,
employ the spyglass and luck to you,
for them to find

their voyages do not widen the chasm of waste,
yawning greater now by propped up boasts of
ugly shipowners who sin by commission,
national ***** crowing of the greatest length of their prow,
thinking that is a measure of prowess,
their tubs,
all but empty wordy new container ships,
that are forever lost at sea,
even before leaving port

they,
the real poets,
are the quiet lost lot,
a troop of forgettable ordinary  Marines,
the sailors in the engine room toiling,
exploring cartographers ***** from the ****** crafting struggle,
looking to discover unmapped,
invisible poles,
East and West

opening up new passages,
within us,
with new passages

when called to arms,
the real poets
spill fresh ***** fluids from within the heart and mind borne,
upon the blank spaces,
they stain us with the grasping gasps of their sight insided

fertile are the pastures
where they lay low modest lay thinking,
amidst the splendor in the grass

of them
I*
proudly will ever boast,
hold them close and ever nameless,
but deep inscribed inside of me

Ah,
the real poets keep me
whole within the
ever smaller white purity of this narrow space
that has lost the struggle
to contains the
unceasing ever spawning black letter'd oceans and navies of
repetitive sad, sadly repetitive,
puerile singsong cant
that never sings,
can't never please,
but trends to the masses madly

dewdrops of tears,
are my own trees felled,
an acknowledgement that
when I read their unintended homages to humankind,
that when realized,
they speak with great respect,
all quietly scream this whisper...

all this,
that I have written,
and will yet to write,
this is all,
to give
greater glory to all human ability
whose
sole purposed to fill us,

wrench us from our lackadaisical comfort,
or  urgently comfort us when none else can,

these are my friends,
the real poets here*

god keep you well

my trite words insufficient
so I gift you
some words worthy from
Wordsworth
"Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
      Strength in what remains behind;
      In the primal sympathy
      Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
      Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind."

William Wordsworth. 1770–1850

Poetic T
I will follow you down the rabbit hole,
To see what can be found, but it wasn't
The fairy tale we were told, it was the
Dark side never seen light under the ground.

The rabbit was late for his execution,
They chopped off his head, it did roll
Across the ground. But the people and
Animals, they did hunger for more, so
A stew was made and his watch was
Sold for gold.

The mad hatter did hide in shadows,
Offering tea to those unsuspecting few,
And once they were in a sleep, he did
Bury them alive under the ground. He
Did a jig, when it was near there last
Breath and did whisper to the earth do
Not worry you are not alone there are
Many flowers buried around.

I walked on shaking you see for I had
Witnessed a serial killer, spiked tea
Handed out.

I meet a queen dressed in red, she smiled
And said do not worry girl your not my
Type, as she showed me around, then a
Room opened jars were neatly displayed
All around. In each I did see a beating
Heart, she said to me these are those that
Betrayed my trust all that is left is there
Beating hearts.

I ran through the court yard I ran across
The bridge, what twisted nightmare had I
Fallen in. I saw a caterpillar smoking a pipe,
What's up little lady fancy a ****, I asked
What it was that had him chilled out so much,
He spoke that he smoked the mushrooms
Scattered about.

I asked what were the bones scattered about,
Some on other mushrooms, others scattered
On the floor around. He said the mushroom
Is good, but to relaxed to care about eating
And things, and with that he blew in my face
As my head hit the floor I was in outer space.

I woke with a fright as my dress was up, and
Breath I could feel as I looked under, nothing
I could see. Then a grin appeared, then a mouth,
Then this knotted looking cat appeared looking
Up my dress trying to lick me out. What are you
Doing I screamed out why fish I could smile as
It licked its lips I was damp and grossed out.

I booted it once and twice in the mouth, this
Is the last ***** you'll lick as my heel crushed
Its skull not smiling now.

I had entered a mad land, not a fairy tale but
A twisted version so true, as I had to find a
Way out, then the white queen did come to
My rescue, to her palace I hid out, sniff this
My dear, don't worry its just to relax you out,
A needle she pulled and injected her self, then
Blood  dripped from her nose and her mouth.

I screamed, she looked up and said I am the
white which, ******* is my power then
her heart gave out. needle in her arm blood
dripping on her gown of white, I ran out but
ran in to a wall and knocked my self out.

I woke again to find my self in my bed, was this
All a dream that world I thought about, then the
Friend I did follow came in to my room, I shouted
Out where were you when I feel In the hole, and
Then a knife did appear though his chest, as the
Mad hatter said you thought you could escape
No one is truly safe when they fall down into
The dark place deep under ground...

"I"
You may not like my writing
well I don't give a ****
"Subpar" Oh Well!
That's just who I am

I must have scared you bad "I"
you blocked I real quick
I had "I" turning tail
"I" couldn't match my wit

Poor poor "I" run and hide
Be lonely with all your 0's
"I" couldn't quite make the cut
"I"s lost among the heroes

"I" couldn't take the fire
Did the kitchen get too hot?
Go cry over "I"s masterpieces
Sob for all "I's" NOT!!!
Just a thought running through my head
The Chicken blocked me!
ooh I must be scary!

~

Often I will stand *****, a stood up smiling face
Reaching for the meanings, only longing but to trace
Full in view, invisible, as empty glances come
Still, I can not see myself; I’m blinded by the sun

What features lie about this broken painted piece of glass
Accepted deep within the realms as desperate feelings pass
Shattered in the eyes of none that take the time to hear
Foggy misted attributes a’ clinging crystal clear

That mirror with its gilded frame, hangs crooked on the wall
Creviced breach of promises that loudly ring the call
Reflections of a face I have not seen in many years
Answers lost in what these lines do fashion of the fears

Am I here, I ask of eyes now found to stare right through
My hand before my face does not obstruct my cautioned view
Existence, does it brew the leaves, so relevant the tea
Challenging the truth a’ swirl within this cup I see

Tomorrow may just find that I have all but disappeared
Lost amongst the wanderers of voided silent cheers
Will they still remember me as someone they have known
Crying at the window panes of tortured teardrops shown

Or merely the forgotten in the mass of needless sighs
Nothing but a figment that did never grace their eyes
Tossed about as ashes from the cigarettes they hold
Invisible, and left alone, to wither in the cold

I'm moving as if in a trance now,
going through the motions,
smiling when I'm supposed too,
saying the right words,
and they really don't know me
inside,
I'm dying
slowly.

I talked to you
about all the mixed up stuff
kept away in my
head

You were understanding
and helpful
and it was great
And I felt
much better than usual

You helped me so much
when I thought you would
get mad

But you didn't

And I'm so thankful
for everything you do

-e.w.
back from work when he rings the bell
his face tells me not all is well.

there's a dog out there,
seriously wounded, can't even get up

saying this he picks up a plastic bowl
pours some water in it
and to show him he isn't alone
I follow him with a bowl of milk
with breads soaked in it,

must be some insolent car tyre
crushed his hind legs
a black emaciated one
with a patch of white

and upon that grass
beneath the sinking night
we two mourn.

At home all alone
No one I can phone
Bread is now toasted
I'll just eat instead

Bread in place of love
If push comes to shove
Beers will be my pals
If there are no gals
written under the influence

Woke up this morning
With tears in my eyes
The weight of the world
Makes me want to cry
It's heavy with sorrow
And the sin of mankind

The Weight Of The World

It's the blind leading the blind
So they can not see
Who then will tell them
If not you and me
The truth of Gods Word
And the freedom it brings

The Weight Of The World

I've been where they're at
So I know how insane
Falling two steps back
When one forward is taken
They're in a bad dream
And need a good shaken

The Weight Of The World

The weight of the world
Though heavy at times
Can be overcome
Sight returned to the blind
Accept what is true
Instead of the lies

And you'll drop...
