Tie me down to Rose Valley,
my special place,

I'll happily spend
what's left of forever,
in my sacred space.

Lock the gates,
throw-away the keys,

I'm begging you,
Oh please,
Oh please!

Leave me all alone,
let me get lost in the woods,
I'll be just fine,

I know these trees,
like the back of my hands,
this enchanted forest is all mine!

Let me wander around,
let me sit under the sun,

Let me be a prisoner
to such freedom,
I'll willingly do my time
until it's done!

Let me spend
my remaining days in solitude,
I'll make the most of my time,

I'll never, ever, look for anyone
to complain to,
I'll never commit such a crime!

Allow me to surrender myself,
assign to me a full life-term,

I can promise you this...
from my special, sacred place,
I shall never, ever, return!

You have my word!

Let it be said!
Let it be heard!

Someday a prince from an isle of unicorns
will come and plant me many sweet roses
Around the grounds and upon the hills,
and plant some even pretty pink roses
underneath those weeping willow trees
and some white roses around the pond
Each day, I shall place them in some vases
and enjoy them inside the castle, too
Oh, there's a vampire at my window!

clouds are ocean foam
seahorse winks at me coyly
with one moonlit eye

I saw this just now!
The clouds made a seahorse
Over the moon!

As I sit . . .
green leaves hang . . . motionless . . .
~our earth spins on it's axis over a thousand miles per hour~

As I watch . . .
adagio grasses bow in repose . . .
~our earth orbits the sun over sixty-six thousand miles per hour~

As I rest . . .
vinca vines trail unruffled . . .
~our solar system whirls around the milky-way over five-hundred thousand miles per hour~

As I wonder . . .
flowers pose placid and serene
~our milky-way hurls headlong over a million miles per hour~

In my garden . . .
stillness reigns resolute . . . amidst this unimaginable tempestuous maelstrom

I am called to witness this defiance;
this static anarchy against the universe's irresistible momentum
I am surrounded by leafy verdure in stock-still solidarity;
blossoms colored with un-budged boldness
and tendriled vines in composed contempt
I am called to witness this unperturbed mutiny against torrid irascible forces

As I sit . . . musing on this peaceful anarchy

I think on He . . . that humble anarchist
waging peace against war
love against hate
grace against revenge
His submissive cheek immovable against brutish forces

I sit . . .
peacefully content in my garden of Eden
unmoved . . .
by the celerity of this careening world

Giant forks,
Spikes of death,
Running into thick fog,
Unable to breath,
Destruction, power,
Sweeps, through the trees,
Water and rivers
Full of disease.

Innocent souls,
Memories are crushed,
The environment,
Full of dust,
Reaping needles of pain,
Blue, pearlescent,
Tearing our terrain.

Houses are full,
To the brim of incapability,
Monstrous waves,
push and pull,
Sweeping you,
From under your feet,
Pulling you into,
An early fate.
