my song is a worn out tune that sings and
plays a worn out harmony about this time
of year, but, in June when full bloom of the Jericho
and  Mulberry  bushes and the harp sings with thrushes
melodies
robins flitter
and squirrels are gay
I dance along the very edge  of the starlight flickering the
moon's edges
a flitter
dance with gaiety happy
along the edge of the farthest
galaxy

Hello poetry,
Have you come to whisk me away into another fantasy
Float me down the river of another memory
Guide me into an abyss, searching for my sanity
Remove me from this place, drifting from gravity

I shut my eyes, let out my hand and let poetry do away with me.
Inspired by this site and all of the amazing people who courageously pour out their heart into the great poems that I read every day.

Slur pee
In my dreams, I can feel you peel off my clinging clothes
And the heat from your fingers scorches down to my bones.
With muddy eyes, I see only darkness and blurry silhouettes
Yet it’s so easy for our wandering lips to connect,
You spit down into my spirit and it turns to mist.
Our bodies dance inside of bliss, carefully we move and twist
For our passion can be slippery when wet;
And neither of us intends to fall, deeper, into this pit.

the lost girl
contemplating suicide
I remember how my life
was like
watching you with those girls
I could only run or hide
you can't see how it hurts
that every time I end up
with my knife
contemplating suicide
under the tree house
we built when we're child
how far we've come
separated but we got along
contemplating suicide*
one last thing I only want
bury me in all the colors
and all the flowers
which are faded and dark
with a rainbow out of blue
faded in darkness of the night
standing on bridge
ready to jump
ready to fly
*with no hope, no fear

The scars are there
but they are hidden on the inside
Makes it easier for us to hide
They are not very pretty
but have learned to live alongside
Sometimes buried deep
Sometimes buried
beneath......
Life is made up of darkness and light
What matters most is how
We choose to act on this
Sometimes dark takes us for a spin
Then light finds us and cuts right in
We choose to believe there is
still beauty in this world
Bad stuff in life happens
But guess what? We are still here
There is always going to be darkness
Just look to the light when you can
Don't let life weigh you down
We can always begin again
Darkness doesn't have to be the end
Not when you have a sister....a
unique connection and poetic friend

*Love to you my sister/poetic friend K

Thanks to all  who read this and gave me a heart and  or comment.
