Don Bouchard
Time rolls backwards into a memory haze,
And I am young, and she is young always;
Her beauty turns the heads of longing men,

And I am jealous, once again.

When I remember passioned days,
My soul leaps up into old ways,
And I pursue the girl I love, amazed,

And I am satisfied, again.

When I remember battles past,
I know the one we're in will end at last,
And our old love return to hold us fast,

And we'll return to love again.

Though time retrieve the golden days,
And stamina in all things stray,
Never will it take our love away.

Still, our love remains.
Our love remains.
39 years, I have loved her, and I love her still.
Still tweaking this one. Never quite done...

Gidgette
I can't touch you
By time and space
I can't kiss you
Or feel the whiskers on your face
I can't make love with you
That part, aches
But for your heart
I'd do whatever it takes
Fate is so cruel
Because of that, I cry
But I'm going to keep you
In the folds of my eternity,
the blue of my sky

I wish i were a weapon======
Given a choice
I'd surely be a harmless bow and arrow ===>>>
But a surefire one...like those of Cupid's ===>>>
When released==>>>and aimed==>>> towards your body
My feelings ===>>> my energies ===>>>
Shall ride with its trajectory=====>>>>>
To be implanted in your body
Like a micro chip, buried inside your flesh...
Inconspicuous, as a coin on the ground...lost in
A mesh...or the bullet of a magical laser gun,
No sounds....no pain, ===
Targeted towards your heart <3
My face...my love...my smile
Would be resting deep inside,
................occupying space
...................to claim your love
Deprive me not of your precious love,
I aim not, to deprive you of your precious life,
I mean to enhance our lives, for our hearts, to jibe<3

Love poem #6...
...very foolish...teenager-ish..funny....almost silly, or stupid...just like how we behave, when in love...<3

won I did i saw I came I overcame I conquered
none of the words they said the slings and arrows
had any effect
they stood in my way
I stood in defiance
walked right through
head held high
my chest out protruding
my best tough face on
walked straight through 'em

on the other side I thanked my mom and dad
for telling me so
many times how  I am equal to anyone

"I am the sky
Riding the lightening,
Cloudy
Sometimes peppered with clouds
Sometimes tornados
Sometimes even hurricanes
Skies sometimes
are clear"

"I'm the ground
No earthquake found

Let's merge on the horizon
When the supermoon rises."

to be myself that funny feeling
within the crying baby what do you
think of me in this
crying sobbing
supposed to be strong
the willing dreams the night
how do you feel to
see me vulnerable
and weak
I play the G-string
on my guitar make it sing
and cry        for  you  only

(Love poem #3)

It's happening again!
A face...unforgotten
Re appears, through my mind's  parted curtains
Doesn't leave...it haunts
Eyes follow me
Eyes talk to me
And then a flame
Inside my chest suddenly burns
And I am wondering why
It doesn't wane
It's been many, many months
Yet, the fire is so alive,
Consistently bright
Inside me, burning.
I am left churning
And I don't know,
Why now?
Door and windows
Are almost shaded...jaded
Been trying to put behind my head
A name....a face
Your face
With eyes that don't blink,
They just look on...

I will just have to close  mine
To stop meeting yours.

But then
The flame will still burn....

Hopefully your face will never adorn a missing persons poster
just as equally a wanted poster
and I would not wish you fame that would see your face plastered all over the place
no. I wish you success without the hype.

were I to lose myself tonight
nowhere else could it possibly be
then in your fine skin your sweet smile
your embrace

were I to find heaven
I don't think of any afterlife
I would not see your smile your kind eyes
you and beauty

were I to die tonight
with your memory I would smile
brightly forever more like a sailor
welcomed home

after his long course
his long time without love
his long journey without shore
be he parched and full of scurvy

the sustenance
without a kind
life without meaning
there on a shore

of little hope
just barren rocks
and harshness
sand piling up in heaps over
his head

so I said my piece
my welcoming
I await yours
