I stand mute in a world of muted colors
I can't help but feel I'll never love again
honestly I don't think I will
I'm  tired and worn out
I fancy the thought of being alone.
The burden of caring that ruined my capability of loving
the damage you've inflicted on the girl who's never hurt you
Left scars no one can erase
Yet within this faded world I live
I'm lost without a trace
I found a piece of your heart.
You must have left it behind.
But that's all right because with you
I left a piece of mine.
my wrists still hurt more from your rough hands
pinning me to the floor,
than anything I've ever done to them before.

my head still aches more from screaming,
rather than by an old concussion lingering.

my eyes still cry and leak over,
but I'm not sure why anymore.

But as long as it's don't ask, don't tell,
I'll be fine.
anxious.
Your smile makes me smile,
Your laugh makes me laugh,
Your eyes are enchanting,
You make my thoughts seem daft.

Since the day I first laid eyes on you,
My feelings grew and grew.
In that first conversation my knees clicked and clacked,
And those butterflies flipped and flapped.

And as I spill these simple rhymes,
My mind goes over time and time,
Why didn't you ask me to dance,
During that slow song of endless romance?

I hope this doesn't seem to creepy.
Please don't think my thoughts have flown too freely.
Just know that what I speak is true,
And that I have fallen deeply for you.
I started having dreams
again, I hate dreams,
they are a mockery
of my reality.
But once I decide something,
as indecisive as I am, I
don't get derailed easily.
I suppose my dreams know
I'm hooked, and that's
why they've returned.
I wake up empty
because I hate fake, and
that's all the dreams are.
I open my eyes
and they water with longing,
as they're fueled by desire
that leaves me ever wanting
when I wake. People tell me
I should practice restraint, stop
wearing my heart on my sleeve.
They're right, I know.
I have a brutal habit of leaving
pain in my wake and with me
everywhere heartbreak I take.
I barely sleep as it is,
now I'm afraid to. I'm afraid
of the dreams
and what I want
because for two people
to want the same thing...
well that never quite happens
with me.

I've had my heart broken so many times,
I think maybe I just like to see myself hurt.
In response to a certain poem I read earlier.

Courting is way more romantic than dating. The only guy I've ever courted rather than date, I broke up with for terrible reasons a while back. One of the biggest mistakes of my life thus far. The only guy who ever truly loved me for all the right reasons. I'm sorry KB. I'm sorry I let her get to me, my little Bird. Happy Birthday, I'll always love you.
Do you care about life?
No not at all

So why are you alive*
Because I have a best friend who does
Love you bae
When the girl, I loved, died,
I locked myself in her room
while her parents were in Arizona.

I went through her things
and found
**** photos;
A few where she seemed
ashamed
and a few where she
liked her body.
She had a gummy smile
and in others
she looked down at her *******
while having a blank expression.

I found empty
alcohol bottles.
Cheap bottles of wine
and a bottle of red,
stuffed with tissue paper.

Under her dresser
I found an unopened
letter she intended to
give the boyfriend before me,
where she admitted
to being ***** as a teenager
and how she hoped
it wasn't too much
baggage.

I threw out the photos
and
alcohol bottles,
but not the letter.

I don't know why but I kept it.
I occasionally read it,
because it's her,
and I love her.

I told my friend
and he called me a
Halomaker,
because I made sure
she was remembered
as an angel.
i cant imagine
myself
loving anyone else
but i can imagine
you
loving anyone
