Its wild in here

yet so peaceful

your love has made a forest out of me
Check the tag bookpoemchallenge for more info. The book I picked was 'Pig tails' by Scott foresman.
Let me be plain
yesterday's pain
which we often disdain
is not suffered in vain

we have this impression
our pain from this session
which seems never to lessen
is an un-needed lesson

now this ain't no blow
but when emotions do flow
they will help you to grow
in more ways than you know

I know it's no thrill
when your heart hits the grill
it's a most bitter pill
but you still gotta chill
I think of how easily I could **** people far too wistfully and far too often. I don't fantasize about a boy sweeping me off my feet the way I used to anymore, I daydream about killing the people who hurt me so badly I can't be fixed. I don't think that's a good thing.

half the time,

the person who broke me so badly who I want to **** is myself though.
It's a series. Feel free to add to it. Title is self-explanatory. Literally, any spontaneous thought no matter how weird (like mine), funny, sad, deep, dark, scary, happy, thoughtful, or random.

Just include the hashtag #spontaneousthoughts and use the same title as mine: Spontaneous Thoughts (Series)

also feel free to message me to let me know you added to my series so I can read it.

Despite the fact that many
Would say otherwise
I am simple
It's just that
I don't know
People are weird?
I mean
Wha- why
How
No
Uh I'm
I jus-
Um
Pffft!
I am simple
I really am
Decided to try out Ember Evanescent's idea of the spontaneous thoughts series too

the words that
leave your
mouth don't
die once they
hit the air:

they sink
into my head
and i carry them
there.

Natalie
do not date a girl
who writes.
she will internalize
everything,
carve poems
into your eyelashes
instead of
kissing them,

she will analyze you,
calculate age
from the rings
your coffee cup
leaves
instead of refilling it.

she will memorize
the way your
lips curl around steam,
but not that you
take it
two sugars,
no cream.

she will read your
palm instead of
holding it
against her chest.

she will not
blink
when you leave,
because she is
already
romanticizing it.

Writing a thousand
angst filled lines
isn't soothing
my ache
Is anyone there where my breath
tattoos the sky?

Is the mist that I see really me?

Does fate evaporate all trace,
even memory?

Can I cast out a line to
catch time?

If I read the good book will I
learn each twist and turn?

Will the road
that I take,
make me a better man?

If I look and still leap will you
rock me to sleep?

Thoughts that keep me hungry.
