the black rose
and with a heart so empty,
so fill with nothing..
does it even still beat?
i dont know, i cant hear a thing!

with my thoughts so loud,
they never let me rest at night
& when i finally do close my eyes in hopes to escape..
i know that the sun rises again to give me hell.

when i try to forget you,
thats what makes it worse..
i try to eliminate the urge for you to hold me,
i would hope that my screams are louder than the sound of your voice,
that lingers throughout my body at 4am.

when will i find peace?

Take a left on Almost There
And a right on Never Mind
Head straight onto Backwards Place
Passing by Not On Your Life

Stopping at the corner of
Touch To Much & Not Enough
Right across the street from
The ally way of Just Because

Where you'll find a man that's selling
Bags of wants and needs
So that you don't waste your trip
Of your day in Absurd City

You know all I want is to lay in the grass
On a hill with a slight breeze, and it's warm
And listen to wind chimes and someone else's
Steady breathing
From the countless footsteps
I could feel hers
when summer sun was slanting
the day was losing glares.

Oh her lotus feet
how they cooled the burning dust
soothed my spirit
now I tell the story must!

She would wait beneath a tree
to catch a passing song
that breathed her lullaby
stayed with her for long.

When wind hushed the passing note
the darkness chilled her bone
upon her eyes starlight wrote
you are so alone.

She turned the way she came
trod me her lotus feet
hadn’t seen her known her name
but felt her in heartbeat.

One evening she waited long
till the last crow found its nest
she was dying to hear his song
but silence rent her breast.

As she walked my laden stone
weighed in load of pain
I could feel her anguished moan
that fell on me like rain.

She hasn’t come back to this day
hadn’t seen her known her name
only know it’s truth they say
once lit never dies love’s flame!

Traveling in the last hours of darkness
Down this long and dusty road
Looking up I see the moon so full
On her journey through the night

I want to leave my earth bound life
And on her take a ride
For she is traveling westward
And would take me to your side

I continue on my lonely way
The sound of road noise in my ears
But if I could ride upon that golden orb
It would wipe away the years

To ride the road of the milky way
To your side where I belong
No radio or CD playing
Just the sound of angels songs

Is it just a dream I'm dreaming
Or could it become reality
To be with you my own sweet love
Just us, just you, just me

I am teetering again
And I guess it's up to me
To decided which way
I fall
to embrace what's engulfing me or fight it

I went to the forest,
Forest spoke a poem...

*Have you seen my green trees,
The trees that gave me shade..

Have you seen my animals,
The animals that here played.

Have you seen my birds,
The birds that sang their songs..

Have you seen my flowers,
The flowers that scented my air...

Why does the evening feel so barren,
Where has she bereft me to rot alone?

Oh my companion mother nature,
Where have you left me oh my God?

Why only the hardened insects remain,
Who am I supposed to listen to now?

Would this bit of grass be able to survive,
Or will it abandon me just like others?

Where do these two-legged creatures come from,
Have I forgot having looked after them throughout?

Why do they use my wood to kindle bonfires,
Couldn't father time just revert everything back?
A namesake personification of the forest,
I give vent to my personal feelings herein.

I kept a map of your heart under
my covers from the very start. I saw
stars burning brighter than bonfires
in the depths of your eyes. Your voice
sounded better than church quires,
humming birds and mermaids in the
middle of the sea. The way you looked
at me the first time we met made the heat
in my body rise. Your name got stuck in
my head. You left me scribbling it down
on paper with my black inked pen. That’s
when I decided to carry you inside my
heart till the very end* ~
