He was alone
Far from home
Isolated by bullets
As he bled on sand and stone

The explosion triggering the attack
Crushed the vertebrae in a brother's back
A bullet tore through another's arm
The wound left a prominent scar

Through the radio chatter the lone voice of the isolated soldier:
"I've been shot...and it's bad."

Upon reaching the fallen, the medic knew from ****** experience
That his friend was a living corpse, dying is a process
And though the medic prayed he was wrong
He wasn't

Next week, next firefight
Their blood paid for our blood
Pray it meant something in the end

The people as a whole
The people of unity
The people of solidarity
The people want security
We want free education
Or at least affordable fees
We want a future
Un-burdened by debt
Jobs to be created
We want equality
Diversity
Privacy
The people want
Peace
Say no to war
We want safety on the streets
The people want stability
We want prosperity
The people want honesty
From political parties
We don't need global *******
We don't want weapons of mass destruction
We the people
Want back the dream
Give us back the right to dream
Or make it so that
The dream would be inadequate
Because with eyes wide open
Dreams would be alive

Never so cruel the cry within,
Never such a sense of violated presence.
Impossibly diminishing a shade of a former self.
The kind of despair i have know i have received in waves,
Drowning with no key to the lock.
Tears do fall upon my face they are cold, they are tears of blood, they fall like rain.
Tears of blood fall down my face i taste the fear, It is pure hell.
Somebody must have some answers cause tears of blood are all i see,
Somebody must have some answers for me.
The memories come back time and again the tears are poison,
the pain is sharp it cuts like a knife.
The pain binds me like ropes i try to stand again, It stains like a black tattoo.
Crimson are the tears like long red ribbons, the wounds on my soul if only you knew.
The sun fall from a broken world no words are said, Clouds reflect my tears of blood, dyed murky red.

Amazed and
Breathless
Crazier in love,
Desperate.
Every time i open my eyes
Fading stars become you and i
Grateful for your existence
Hopefully wishing,
I've just started living thanks to you
'Just remember to breathe
Keep it cool count to three
Learn to control how my heart races
Madly for thee'
^ notes to myself, when i picture you in front of me
Only you can make me feel
Perfectly safe even in the darkest of dreams
Question my love, i dare you to
Rant about how its not
Sparks fly with every second i get you free, you're a foot away from where i stand
Time has nothing on us, for darling i am
Utterly and completely in awe with the
Very beautifully drawn detail of your face and your silhouette, i
Wake up feeling like i can do anything, every single day with your voice in my head So do an
Xray on my heart and
You will see, and A to
Z, isn't enough,  i'd need 26 new and different letters to tell you i'm in love, without having it sound cliche..

(But i guess this was still cheesey)

The record player keeps spinning the Vinyl
black & white pictures on the walls
are beginning to talk
And the lights blink on and off

The same dark feeling of despair settles over me
during the early hours of the morning
It's a shame 'cause I've run out of whiskey
to help chase the inspiration and sleep
I desperately need

My thoughts cross to you sometimes
and I wonder where you are now
I guess you never kept that promise
as I've yet to see your name on a spine

I guess I'll go to bed now
I'll put on one more record
and muddle into the fog

These black & white pictures
are beginning to talk
And the lights blink
On and off
Experimental fictional piece. Thoughts and comments?
