Starts with a slow ride of growing up inside of your mother
As it reaches the end of your warm and cozy environment safe inside
The ****** reaches the top of the hill
Racing into the world at full speed as the coaster plunged down the big drop
You are now thrown into this crazy world
Filled with twists
      Turns
Highs
       Lows
Slow and steady
        Fast and furious
Your journey may start off wild and crazy
                                 Or
Could be calming and take an unexpected turn

Sometimes the track of the ride will just stop and need to be evacuated
                     Or
Can just break down while your waiting in line
This represents all who have had miscarriages
                  Or
Premature pregnancy, still born, that ended too soon

You may try again later in life to restart the ride
Hopefully to enjoy the journey of so many others did waiting in line in front of you

Those who made it through the roller coaster of life
Will enjoy the ride of a lifetime
Buckled and strapped into your wild and crazy ride that we call
                LIFE

Empty bellies
Freezing limbs
Sleeping on the sidewalks
Or park bench
No blankets or pillow to keep you warm
A cardboard box as your shelter
Feeling safe is not an option

No one to protect you or feel at home

This is my life
I’m not ashamed to say
But could you stop and just pray
Pray for my safety and that I will find shelter and food
But most of all, for me, to just be happy and good...

Skipping rocks down the river of life
Making ripples in the water and foot prints in the sand
Music is blaring as we dance to our jam
We don't care who's watching as we act crazy together
As we hold hands for many years forever and ever...

A little boy
In so much pain
Fill him with medicine
And fluid
Yet the pain won’t go away

His body shakes
And trembles
From all the fluids being pumped
Inside of him

Being poked and prodded
With needles and such
Wishing I could take away his pain
Being a mother, I’m hurting for him so much

There’s nothing I can do
But sit back and watch
Hoping my boy will come around at once

I’m not complaining for wanting pity from you
This is my son, it’s what I have to do
I just want support and love from all
To help me through these scary falls

As a parent
You want to protect your child
I’m being strong for him to encourage my boy
Even if it’s been very wild

The fate of my life
Is in my hands
