Broken
There is an emptiness inside a man
a place that is only hers to fill
He will never be complete without her
His heart never beating stands still
A lifeless man, yet living he wanders
As he prays that one day she'll come home
But if not he will wait and he'll love her
Till the day that he dies all alone.

Blood and roses and war
I am small and you are tall
Is it fun to have the upper hand
Over children made of sand?
If you rule over a people -
what does it matter
If they easily shatter?

There's poetry in symmetry;
you're the other half of me.
There's something about chemistry;
chemicals running through our bodies.
We can't forget history;
the war between our hearts of two.
I can't think of anything
to keep myself away from you.

Ever felt it ?
She is feeling just exactly the same right now
I can feel the pull she's so desperate and wanting for
Amazing as it sounds
feels so magnetising too
like a bee stinging into her forehead
A constant reminder of a void that needs the feeding
Scabs that yearn for caress
The cadence earnestly begging to be heard
voice so deep and fulfilling that i satiate every inch of her soul
should i give her a call in this night so dark and the wind so cold
or
should i let her beg and long for more ?

You claim you see through me
but I ain't even made of glass
I built a time machine
so we could eliminate the past

How many Flowers fail in Wood—
Or perish from the Hill—
Without the privilege to know
That they are Beautiful—

How many cast a nameless Pod
Upon the nearest Breeze—
Unconscious of the Scarlet Freight—
It bear to Other Eyes—
