Ceida Uilyc
I decided that, I would like to be a radio woman,
With the accelerator on my foot,
The right,
And mike on my left.
Blaring aloud,
A beetle bug motor-bee,
To sway and jingle over the traffic
Of the whole world
In a Tea’s Daze;
Blaring it aloud, to the supposed society,
The majority,
To it,
To the Together,
Aloud,
With a resurrected rebellion,
Howl all my cramps off,
Sans the punctuality, morality
And ethics.
And, free it all within a session,
A million worth of cramps sediment,
Waiting to sneak into the coffin for my afterbreath,
Just, free ‘em all, Whenever I feel it.
Aloud. Lucid. And, Crisp.

Canterbury crimson
On the plot that stands the rim
Beckoning the lonely souls
Oh please do come on in

Find a feast that’s waiting
Drink until your fill
Kick those shoes across the floor
Spit along the spill

Everyone is happy
Can’t you see their smiles
Torches burn the shadows through
Some have come from miles

Dance among the ruins
Yes, your life is there
Fall into the dark abyss
We’ve so much more to share

Crawl the crooked hallway
Feel the pain increase
Blistered skin and fractured bone
Oh well, to say the least

Chains are always ready
Locks are rusted tight
Forget about the sunrise spell
Just make it through the night

There’s no use in crying
It’s music to our ears
Melodies of freakish song
Lyrics penned in fears

Find the darkest corner
Make yourself at home
Hell accepts most anyone (even poets)
You’ll never be alone
Yet close and real
we found our hearts
forever tied and yet so close
our dreams that love
that finds our life so far apart
will you wait for me?

We let our eyes close to tight
among our *******, we find the light
we feel our hopes with the lightest touch
If the best of all would go astray
till the day our souls would stray
with dreams so deep to give away
would you wait for eternity?

With words so serene that holds us deep
stars in our eyes that follow abroad
to places far, among the stars
and many more, that dreams
can't seem to meet,
Darling, will you still wait for me?*

Debbie Brooks 2014
it was just me and you
in my stars of blue
broken sorrows bought
semblance of colors
of golden form
stars glowing
lights blaring of things to come....
Caught the reflection
of many to come
putty in the lights
of golden blue stars
in the sea of gardens of blooms...
Bittersweet golden blue
flows around
the sweet hearts
of those that find
the moment of sweet surrender
in the golden blooms.....
Just thinking of you again
colors reflect the many reasons
time of dance and song
golden times that are pressed
for glorious union.....
Now blinded by golden stars
thinking of the beauty of times
that follows the diminishes of thoughts
the brilliance that once was
born to a woman as I....
Golden lights of many stars
i give to you my many thoughts
that forms the love i once knew
when I knew of him
one last time of long ago
In the golden fairy tale
of fairy gold blue dust I see
something special will come this way
one last time
In golden star lights of time.....

Just thinking of you....
Debbie Brooks..
Deep within the starlight glade,
A child of light sits on emerald green.
Under a great tree her majesty sits In shade,
Her name Is beauty a glory to be seen.
Eyes are closed In peaceful bliss,
Loves' dreams within her mind do wander.
What loving thoughts her mind does kiss,
Not one thought shall her mind squander.
There sits beauty wonder divine,
Awaiting the stars to come out at night.
In starlight glade lost In time,
Where beauty shall meet beauty what a sight.
Then In glory the stars came out to play,
Beaty does open her pools of Love.
Stars painted on dark velvet so far away,
Forever belonging In Heaven above.
You stand and start to walk the emerald green,
Stardust does fall onto glories hair.
Starlight falls upon your glory supreme,
You are the child of light an Angel fair.
Let me drown In pools of soft brown,
Smile become my living sun.
You open up a heart In whose Love I would drown,
It opens In Love for everyone.
Now In starlight glade you are no more alone,
In darkened glory before you I stand.
Tonight your heart shall be my home,
Come my blushing Rose do take my hand.
Now I hold Heavens' glory close to me,
I lose myself within your pools of Love.
The beauty and wonder of Love I see,
It Is time for our hearts to rise above.
Your lips In glory they now meet mine,
In starlight glade our Love shall shine.
We do drink from Loves' cup divine,
You are Loves' eternal valentine.
Dream your dreams as you always do,
May your every dream come true.
Lady of the light may you always view,
This world of ours as you wish to do.
Beauty always walk this world with pride,
Your beauty through the years It grows.
Never set your Love to hide,
My beloved you are the beauteous blushing Rose.

Filled my eyes with the blue ,

Let The World Envelop Me,
And Abondon My Hollowed Body,
Let The Stars Free Me From Anguish,
And The Error Of Hesitation

Let The Sea Consume Me,
And Let My Weary Eyelids Close,
Let The Current Cast Away My Doubt,
And The Insecurities I Hold Tightly To

Let The Flowers Tickle My Skin,
And Let Them Take Away The Envy,
Tell The Sun To Nurture What Is Good,
And Let The Rest Fade Into The Breeze

Let The Soil Embrace Me,
And Extract All Which Gives Me Pain,
Let The Earth Feed Upon My Hatred,
And Convert My Remorse To Nourishment
So, It's Been A While.

Did I hear a knock on my soul’s door?
Could be mistaken, my hearing is not good anymore
Or was it just a tired wind which stopped by to rest
Blown away by a storm and was just catching its breath.

Did I see your shimmering shadow on the floor?
Could be, since my eyes are not as good as before
And if you did come, did you call out my name so softly?
Or play the harp on my hearts strings ever so gently.

That sweet touch that brushed my face with those lips
The way, you tugged at my heart with your gentle finger tips
Linger on…

Then why is it that I hesitate, of your presence am not sure?
Is it wishful prescience, an illusion… a thought conjured?

Graced by age that’s what happens when years pile on silently
It happens to all, as time creeps upon us relentlessly?
The dawn turns to dusk and the rainbow grey
Perhaps…
Your sweet music, touch and the caress had never gone away?

Ah! My failing senses, willful delusions had my perception obscured
There couldn't have been a knock, since I had never shut the door.
Memories, getting old, thoughts

The Moth

Dee
A moth with purple luminous sheen-ed wings
Fell in love with a flame, enraptured by her blush
Wished to wrap itself around her limbs
Gently caress her, such was his crush,

It ventured forth
Dying to explore her contours
Touch her ethereal glow
Aware that his serenading hum
Seduced by her fire, hitherto unsung
The blue mesmerizing core
That he could never explore
The sanctum sanctorum…

The wings now charred and singed
He writhes in pain yet ecstatic
He would rather be a ‘had been’
Than having lived a life, unseen…
Dedicated to my dear friend Debbie Brook :)
