It's not too late to dominate
I've seen the dim-light glowing
Like a bird, lay your nest bit-by-bit
Waves came blowing on me
Great men of Zion I seek advice

Hidden in rocks like diamond
God's shield abounds us in bond
I say to myself: complain not
Absorb the pains for a big deal
Training ambitiously I'm gallant
Till the race ends I won't stop

Brought forth
In the north
On a cold winter night
Aphelion
Born far from the sun.
BLT challenge for the word aphelion

Poetry seems to be
An imagination
Leading to an artistic creation.
The truth is
Each poem possesses a soul
Which is really eternal.

We live and die
But our poems
Never lie or die.
I smoked to fill my lungs
to **** the flowers that grew there
the ones you planted last december

Morning
                                                              hour
                           Jasmine-scented
    breeze
             Wafted in,
                                              slowly
              Fusing
                                   with the smell
                                                             Of earth...(rain-drenched)
                            ~

   Redolent              of
                     old,               rainy days
        and
                                        intermittent
                        Sunshine.

             Mellow morning
Ambrosial🌼
Jasmine efflorescence;snow-coloured, dewy
Brings back memories somehow,...

It frosted good and hard last night
for it was twenty-eight degrees,
heat and humidity are now gone
so we’ll welcome the snow and bare trees.

But today the sun was shining bright
high in the November sky,
there never was such a shade of blue
to delight my searching eye.

The Burr Oaks dropping their golden leafs
no more Maples a fiery red,
the quaking Aspens are flattering maize
a warm quilt, to put the earth to bed.

A morning of snow and icy roads... For those of us who live in a place where we experience all 4 seasons fully, it's time to brace for the long months of winter, look past the cold and see the beauty that is placed before us. Remember, the new birth of spring is right down the hill, through the forest and right around the corner. Best wishes for a warm and safe winter!
