Sadness collapses the faculties that hold together reality

Disconnected
the observer lost in painful recollection,
experiences life with no feeling of the present

A silent numbness takes over the senses,
a muted movie plays.
The zombie walks forward
hoping for better days

Blood soaked barrels roll down the cragged hills
Gathering speed and flattening all life  
in their path, until they run into the mouth of the sea.
And though you might hear their desperation  
shrieking madly across the sunburst sky,
do not pay it any mind.  Close your eyes;
and drift away in the thistles of Summer.

Knew what gay was
Who'd be gay?

Love can be in any ink
It would be great in pink
