Ever since the lockdown, I developed insomnia for which my body decides to sleep at 4am each time and wake up horribly for chores at 9 am. Apparently its usually due to multiple cases of problems. Be it the chores of the day or exams ahead.

Dear White Lies I was told as a child,
though you came from the mouths of people I trusted the most,
still I was betrayed by you.
You came in the form of
“I love you,”
and “you’ll be okay,”
and “I’ll never leave.”
You were sharper than a knife and you twisted at my heart
until finally it bled out onto a paper that would never be read by anyone else but you and I.
I trashed a note that would make more of you enter into my brain
and grow until finally you looked down upon me
as if I were nothing more than a bug
compared to you.

To raise
humble kid
is my priority.

I can
Make my CHILD learn

By preaching
By teaching
By giving
Knowledge of
Sharing
Caring
Loving

But...
She will not learn
by preaching!!
Rather
She will learn
By my ACTIONS..!!

If I don't
Share MY things
With My
Friends
Neighbours
Siblings
Cousins

She will learn NOTHING..!

I can make her
learn to share.
By making her give -
Clothes to needy
Toys in orphanage
Candies to the deprived.

But by GIVING
she will
just learn to be PROUD

Rather
If she learns by
seeing me
SHARING
She will become HUMBLE..!!

To raise a humble kid is my priority..!!

twinkling lights
fall playfully onto snow
pink noses and angel breath
clouds i can swallow
frozen toes
and lips so close
we might as well be sharing my scarf
same coat
i wouldn't mind
but you already knew that
our hands in your pockets
fingers interlocked perfectly
this is what they were made for
i can't help but think
what would it be like for two hearts
to beat as one
if i could swallow you like a pill...
...just ask me and i will.
maybe i'd like to die here
