It’s raining today
No sun to look at and glow.
Sunflower’s tears mixed with the rain
Fell on the ground whispering a name.
Then out of nowhere a rainbow appeared.
Saw sadness on Earth
and called out a name.
Sun appeared like on command.
Sunflower lift up her head and started to shine.
Winked at the ribbon of colors up in the sky.
Yes after the rain, ribbon of candy delivered the Sun.
A promise of light after the dark.
Of better times when things are bad.

Putting on dark glasses
To protect eyes from

the hurt that’s in the eyes

You can’t see
the teardrops
falling softly on the  face
blending in

those trembling lips.
Full with sad emotions
One would think
They want a kiss.....

Flourishing in silent peace while dancing in the wind.

Between white blue to pastel nuances I stand
My roots big , they  go deep beneath the shallow waters
Giving me the life to be,
to make me what I am
All you hear is the sound of soft waters
streaming gently between my sisters and me
Still I’m blessed with strength and deep color to bloom away in spring
As pink Sapphires my leaves sparkle not even one green leaf is there to see.
I am the Queen between the trees and yes I weep pink cherry tears.
Elegance is what you see when you can’t take your eyes off of me.
In light breeze I sing
my song sad as can be,
of the love I lost  forever,
while still waters will weep along with me.
Pink leaves

like shiny jewels on a tree.

Besides all this ugliness something else was happening.
She felt the need to live, to survive.
The light was within.
A melody in her head.

Seeping through the cracks of sorrows.
Reaching her core.

She was praying.
God, give me strength to love and trust again.
This world seems so unfair.
But am I not born for a reason?
A warm glow from within gave her light to see.
She saw handles to hold on to.
To find her way out.
And she bloomed.

As I walked out of my black and white world
in my grey colored clothes leaving behind the ruins of my life which was full of sadness full of fear.
Like stepping in a new dimension of space.
I saw colors so bright they hurt my eyes but bring joy to my heart.
Looking up to this infinite sky
I saw all shades of blue going over in turquoise
at the end I saw colors of a blushing sky with a glow on the cheeks, soft rose and soft pastel.
Crown of white was holding this up like  pieces of white cotton candy  so sweet, I just keep looking up.
Then I felt a light breeze from a soft blue wind ,
listening careful there was a message within.
Messages coming from afar reaching the ear
touching the heart.
I could hear the cries of people in pain, children in fear what a shame.
Could this beautiful sky be theirs too?
Yes it is,  I was one of them too.
Looking around what beautiful trees,
all kinds of green but also orange, yellow and pink.
Fields of tulips, red roses and yellow daffodils everywhere!
Indeed these are the colors of Spring.
Many butterflies and bees in the air
Buzzing around in search for a kiss.
The sounds of happy birds flying high taking dives back to earth.
I felt like Alice in wonderland
finally found after getting lost.
In reality
It was just another day in war.

We all must try to help the people in war. Shower them with colors of love.
