The most meaningful flower
      I ever received was from
a blind homeless fella who said
             it matched my essence
true story, he was a Vietnam vet down on his luck but his spirit never wavered,  i used to bring him coffee-and whenever i could - he disappeared one day, i never did find out what happened to him. this one's for you JC.

I would not recommend Madness

                 distrust runs riot
dissecting myself with wings clipped deemed a flight risk
and I'm naked lay face down on the bed
and I trace tramlines
                                     of forgiveness
because my mauled body pays
penance and I am my own
whipping boy who sees me as
a war zone of self-destruction
an addict to my own sickness
bat **** crazy
                         like those female poets
and their creative madness
                                                 Sexton, Plath, Bishop, Woolf
and Merini and Kane

and I prayed: Lord
forgive me for my sins
I would not recommend
Madness

Yes, I used to be
What I used to be
But, you wanted me
More than I could've me

Oh! Yes, you wanted me
More than I wanted me
But I couldn't be
All that you wanted me to be

Yes, you wanted me
Yes, but I couldn't be
Even though you wanted me
But you couldn't be

No, you couldn't be
All that I wanted, Eve
So you couldn't see; and I couldn't see
Me and you believe; but do we' believe

My
My life
My sorrow
My bitter pill to swallow

My dark
My light
My lonely cry in sight

My heart
My soul
My feeling is so cold
simplistic and cold life that surrounds us

Nature’s fine composition
Music that is so closer to the heart
Humming along with nonchalance
Swaying branches join the harmony
Winds dance to the timeless rhythm
Silent echoes from the mountains
Calling out to solitary souls
Solitude is an eternal bliss
When one is in tune with nature
