I stumbled upon you
Like a child
that finds a pretty stone

Bewildered by your presence
I sat and admired
Counting your cracks
Caressing what makes you glitter

You stood infront of me
Bold and beautiful
Like nothing I'd ever seen

And as you gave me your attention
I think I misconstrued your intentions

I wanted to put you in my pocket
But you said no

So there you sit
Perfectly unpolished
A love

I can only visit

If someone
Does not want me,
It's not the end of the world.
But
If I do not want me,
The world is nothing but ending.

Secrets of the heart
recent or old
wounds that wouldn't heal
never to be told-

secrets of the heart
not even the dearest would know
love takes many a role
in joy or sorrow-

secrets of the heart
hidden in chambers only too cold
won't melt ever in the strongest heat
not a word would they unfold-

secrets of the heart
as on my dying bed I lie
they will be buried with me
none need ask: Why?

I never felt true love
Like this before in life
Oh my sweetheart,
But the day you
Touched me
It was like no other day,
Something special
Happened to me,

You Touched My Heart....
True Love
waiting
today
tomorrow

Bare Feet

These bathroom tiles are frigid under my toes.
The soles of my feet stiff, lifting off of the hostile ground.
My toes curl as I let go and fall to the unforgiving floor.
I’m falling, falling so fast that I almost hit the surface.
Then your humble fingers lace with mine.
Yesterday I saw you for the first time in a long time
When I say you my heart stopped
I have missed you so much
My heart dropped

"I miss you"
"I love you"

These are the words
I said to you
And you? --
You said
"I just don't know"

What am I supposed to do now?
Move on?

But I still love you
