drip drop drip
Matthew Jun 2021
Red rubies drop.
White porcelain tub.
Mahogany door blocked.
Slowly...

Opened windows.
Rhythmic beating neon lights.
Waterfalls fall.
Faster...

Pens click-clack-click.
Clocks tick-tock-tick.
Walls...
Quiet...
Felt this before?

To the Power of i
Matthew Jun 2021
i, hope to see you smiling as brightly as the sun shines.
i, will go on and see the wonders that I have yet to experience.
i, must go forth and conquer what I couldn't years back.
i, shall make my world see me as I see her.

because i, am irrationally rational on what I can achieve.
because i, am motivated to live.
because i, am someone you've seen but never noticed.
because you and i, as irrational as it may seem, are meant to be.

but i, see that you have gotten someone else's number.
but i, see that you have moved on leaving me behind.
but i, see now that I can't stay delusional.
but i, see now that life moves on.

Thieves
Matthew Jun 2020
Take away, take it all, take my life, go on, why not
Bandits everywhere taking my women
Theives right there taking my money
Murderers in front of me taking my life

Opened my eyes and looked at the past,
Not interested in a monster like you
Not sparing some gold on worthless *** like you
Not stopping this addiction like you

Love? Who needs em
Money? Who needs it
My life? What about it?
My destination? Not your problem
sleep deprived right now so just spouting non sense

Not Always
Matthew Jun 2020
Erie sight of justice behind
Lovely sight of lies delight
Women sang the words of the lord
Men followed the will of the lord

He who held power had his mind tainted with hopeless shadows
His daugther, his lover, his reason for life
Morals gone and society beheaded
Anarchy reigned and law subsided

Revolts occured and all had changed
A lost chick crying from all the beasts around him
A swift slow song echoed in the valley of torment
Slowly ended with a splatter of sadness
Matthew Jun 2020
Give a friable pen to an insolent joker,
for he will write a cacophony of laughter

Send a man with nothing to search for a lost treasure,
he will go on and leave his name in fervor

Say your truth without lies nor deceit,
figures will follow you and speak your wisdom

Write a poem alone in your house,
the world embrace you for all you've done

Solitude
Matthew Jun 2020
A warrior donned in black silver shines
Running though fiends made by own mans fright
Hasten the edge of solitude
He who shall pass through will seek salvation

Writhe in agony you who has failed
Worry not there are those around you, waiting
Specks of light visible only to those who desire to seek them
Open your eyes little one, the end is not nigh

Once again set forth to an adventure unhindered
Those specks who've seen have aided from day til dawn
Say words you've held from the bottom of your heart
"Day will go and night will come but never ever leave me"

Matter of Kings
Matthew Jun 2020
None shall interfere with words of mortal kings
Kingdoms' fates reside by treaties and deals between,
Welcoming the presence of each one's other
All who defy, all those rebels, death's only answer.

Here one comes a man of glory with honor like no other
Bringing gifts of gold and flowers towards a maiden flair of beauty
With armor glittering gold and sword red with blood
Imagine so refined, bestowed praise by all.

Eyes flashed towards another man of admiration
Questions asked and laughter resides within
Contempt of what was and was is
Down to beckon the right of one maiden fallen

Seeing man to be throned by father's own hand
Will naught acknowledged for blinded with need
Parties drank and parties ended
She who had lived alone, now drifts alone

people change
Matthew Sep 2019
I have waited for the stars to align and for the sky to fall
Day by day until eons passed but never forgot,
Your heavenly smile that brought upon wars on end
Never have I forgotten the blissful torment of time.

In another life, I still have not forgotten what it meant to say,
Such an innocent line of being one for two,
Brought trials and punishments worthy of your gaze
From this, I grew to someone now I now not know who.

Snow white light and pink leaves scatter
Enveloping a pair that vowed by ring and faith,
Life not started with love and laughter,
Oh how I wish, that were so.

Given back hope that life of innocence in sight, I slaughtered
All fell before my might as I was praised by a grand butterfly,
"How beautiful have you made the world that I craved"
Void and bound life once held.

All brought down, razed, by fire so pure, purity cannot compare,
Faith now lost so we now ask, "Who am I?"

Looking down at puppets galore,
Firm at heart all had said, "Was it worth the blood of all?"

Language
Matthew Aug 2019
Watch from night the eternal sight of words and language loved,
Wonder not the bitter struggle rather parade the success hindered
Bring us to the last day of laughter's end
Belittle all but they will never bend

Cacophony of Hate
Matthew Aug 2019
Hatred brings us down
A Cacophony of noise
Shall ever linger
Don't let others' opinion bring you down,
you aren't them and they aren't you
so why would you care?

Power
Matthew Aug 2019
Imperious unparalleled existence commands thee shall dance
I give forth naught grace nor benevolence but utter dominance
Use however one should wish, only remember to stray from wither
None, not one, more commandment to bestow upon, you devout believer

Luminous sights grew from near to yonder,
Bellowing chaos halts before ones' mighty wonder
Dreams flourished, nightmares sundered
I hold god's might, evil shall perish, heavens' will, it shall be delivered

Evanescent lexicon of rationale wisdom
Reminiscence of a broken kingdom
Brought from worlds' end to heavens' tower all will exist into my one grand power
I hold power over the heavens, all shall perish, even the gods will cower

One has grown too far, too nefarious, too malicious
Expiate thy sin you made against the holy mighty deities, such existence is vicious
Primal order and justified chaos, mow down this small insignificant flower
Beckoning resilience you may offer but none shall stop the fall of your feeble tower
Obtain, realize, abuse, lose

Time of Red
Matthew Aug 2019
Ever linger oh so everlasting luster
Pale seas cover unto place colorful feathers of flight cower
Sun brewed light filters mists, lustifying hopes unplundered
Lives be ****** by damnation lest clustered

Fluttering windless, countless voiceless motionless flow
Lest be retained unto thee unending end, no thread, no glow
Taken by chains of bewildered endless fateless endeavors
No less lest countless longing birds of death steal eyes of flowers

Precious shape of pure harmonious symphony taken not stolen
Numbered by prickling roses, flowering and flowing, time of red broken
Reverse thy thoughts, revise that right, recite thy lines, regret that night
No tears were shown only shapes of light, not flickering, ever so bright

Feathers of flight left the seas, not to the sky yet to the light
Morning light bless the ones that had been mourned infested with blight
Not but a single feather fell into the mortal coffin, resounding:
"Regress thou now heart cold yet undying."

Bitter Blue Sky
Matthew Aug 2019
Chirping birds early in a fine morning
The vast sky's blue---pale or not I can't tell
Morning breeze in the mist still lingering
Sketched out motions speak volumes in levels.

Silence spread and grew out in wide corners
Like a trampoline when pressure exists
Thou shall glue immense pieces thy garners
Pausing the chain of blank thoughts in amidst.

It was peace but why do oneself screams 'sick'?
Rusty roof still covered in green like moss
Afraid to tell, will thee really won't speak?
Queries in clouded mind, was it my loss?

Scenes are set, is it morning or mourning?
Thee tell, peaceful or excruciating?

— The End —
