There is a difference
between making love
and having ***
we did both.

And I must confess
never have I felt
so in peace
as laying together
fully undressed.

There was no you
there was no me
all there was
was us.

Your touch
through my skin
and that small grin
on your face
as you whispered

I love you

Pressed your head in mine
looked you in the eye
and said

* I love you too *

Then you
and I
became one.

Now all is left
are the memories
of your touch
bringing me
to my knees

Your breath
caught in my mouth
and your taste
printed in my skin.

Now I sleep alone
and roll side to side
looking for,you
and wonder

If you're missing me
the way
I'm missing you

For You

love is tough
but worth the price
I haven't back down  from this fight

Trust is hard
it leads to fright
but there are things
we'd make right

if you know it
to be true
Then give to me
what I give to you.

A kiss to the check
and hope of blush too.
This isn't for them
It's all for **you
I am the hunter left on deck
To watch over this train wreck
Judgement tries to pierce my armor
But I could never ever harm her
I'll be here, each day
Loyal to her in every way
This attraction is beyond skin deep
My heart I gave her to keep
Perhaps this charade won't always last
And I can be future, present,
Proud of the past
You remind me of an onion.

As the layers peel away,
I struggle not to cry
'cos you're just the same inside-

and in your heartless little way
you blinded me with love,
enough to make me stay-

to cut you up in little pieces
and chew you like
"Take that, you frickin' onion"
Day 12 of NaPoWriMo.

I'm definitely deleting this one after the month is over...I just feel silly today.

To save the Queen
I must face,
danger alone
in this ugly place.

Deep inside
I can see you scared
but, lucky
I came prepared

Out of all the Queens
I can't see you so blue
a daffodil at hand
is the weapon I choose

With this flower,
I'll make my stand,
to prove that I am, the better man

No dragon will be slain
instead, we'll fly!
Up in our own castle
high, in the sky.

What do you say?
lets give it a try.
Just take this flower
out of my own surprise.
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
  By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea:
But we loved with a love that was more than love—
  I and my ANNABEL LEE;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
  Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
  My beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
  Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my ANNABEL LEE.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And the stars never rise but I see the bright eyes
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea—
In her tomb by the side of the sea.
