bones
She traced
the patterns pressed
by the grass
into my knees

with gentle lips
and fingertips
as light as
falling leaves...
(Can't sleep remix)

We traced
the patterns pressed
by the grass
into our knees

and lay
with slowing hearts
undressed and
sleepy in the breeze...

(nearly next morning now remix)

She moves her hand
more lightly than
the touch of falling leaves

and traces like a map
the pattern pressed
into my knees

and where the lines
are deepest finds
my sweetest memories...
It hits in a spiritual, delirious way
the taste of blood is the only reminder
of how much I enjoy the pain

I crashed the car and I lived
I roamed the highway searching for your ghost
only to find it moved on long ago

We travelled 500 miles in this chase
for euphoria; the few signs on the way
urging us to follow separate paths

You're gone and I'm trapped
within this memory, a period of stasis
Cursing the alleged 'free road'
that brought us to this standstill.

(You never were one to take a risk,
always pausing to play it safe)

These selfish lights refuse to shift
throwing us back to different ends
of the spectrum once again

Yet I'm pulsing red, devilish hues
for you for you for you

If I could, I would crash all over again
But your lips are the only collision I need
and I was never one to wear a seat-belt

I wonder if like a storm you are
unaware of the damage you inflict.
Flooding these walls with screams,
shattering the fragility of our home.

I assume you are too caught up
within your own struggles to break free.
The wrath of your thoughts and those
calculating fingers rake your flesh.

Etching violent artistry's to your soulless
voids. Little needles which pin-***** at
the dark corners of your mind; awakening
the dormant cruelty sheltered within.

It is only through the cusp of night that
apologies emerge as you feign delicacy.
Your liquid skies fade to hellish hues as
you tell me not to lust after hurricanes.

They lie amidst
Twisted sheets
Legs entwined
And cigarettes in hand.
As the moonlight
Casts a glow upon her skin
He smiles to think
What fun it is to sin.
it stains the very inner of her being
crimson.
crimson with the guilt
and shame
and the unbearable weight
of loving without limits,
to the point of
a threadbare soul
worn with the
constant weight of giving.
drive me past the city limits
and lets lay on the hood of your car
you can put your hand on my chest
and feel my heart imploding
just like the stars we are pretending
to watch in the nights sky,
a million kilometers away.....
and already dead.
like a story that finished with lose ends

cuts like a knife with a wound to mend

one thousand nights with tears falling

with only one name that he is calling

in the middle of the dark all on his own

the memories flashes back in a mellow tone

with every beat that synch with his pain

a bitter sweet symphony inside remains

with all his might he lets it go

like a water fall he lets it flow

there's no easy way out from this predicament

nothing else will work.. not even a replacement

as time passed by he realized all this

all is worth it even if sometimes you miss

for the pain he feels will soon subside

and look for that happiness he once found inside

so he closed his eyes and said these words

"nothing else is more important in this world

but to keep pushing forward and to be free.

once I lived for you...  now I live for me"
