At low light
time slows down
yawns
blink
twinkling darkness
For Blessings
Freedom is like peeing when you’re pressed
Or blowing your nose
Like dancing reckless to good music
Or a floating balloon in strong wind

Freedom is like you and I
Laughing as we walk slowly
Hand in hand under the rain
With bare feet and without care

Freedom is like us
All of us
Letting go of opinions
And daring to do
What makes our hearts beat faster
Not du-dum, du-dum but
Free-dom, free-dom
in a world filled with so much hatred,
you

are the prescription of happiness I need

to keep
me
sane.
every night,
is so lonely without you here.
i sleep curled up in a ball on one side of the bed, and when i turn in the opposite direction, the coldness of the sheets rubs up against my skin. i turn away immediately,
for in that moment it clicks.
you are no longer mine.
my eyes are heavy
but i will not fall asleep
just incase you call

o.o.
10/31/15 12:40am

i want to kiss you
on the lips, your cheek, your neck
and please don’t forget
that kissing me will be nothing like you’re used to
because my lips are not candy
and my hands will not wander

o.o.
She grows
By the light of the moon
And the tides are rising

All I need is a kick
In the back or the mouth
And I'll be drowning in the middle of an ocean

Because I was born
Knowing how to swim
But I've got a sinking feeling

Maybe I'm the anchor
That finds the ocean floor
And makes a home
