Just take a walk
Although today was a great day
You got to say goodbye
Because not all great things are good
So walk into tomorrow
With today forgotten

I'm looking at you
And not seeing your face
Only your soul
No matter how hard I try to see it
I just can't
But in the end
It's only your soul that matters
Cause your face will turn to dust one day
But your soul will last for eternity
It's a good thing I fell in love with your soul and not your face

I love you and you don't know it
I just wish I can tell you I do but I'm too afraid of rejection
Rejection I'm accustomed to but coming from you I don't think I can take it
If only life was simple where I tell you and if rejected I don't get hurt
But life isn't like that
I just love you so much
If only you knew
Heather Jan 2019
Why tell me something when you don't mean it
Why?
Does it make life easier for you
To just say a lie than to tell me the truth
You've said you've changed
But you haven't
That's a lie
So why lie,
When I'm already accustomed to them all

The midnight
It brings out something amazing from within
It's either when you feel your most pain or your most love
But that night
We felt our most love
There was no need for words cause we both felt it
Just a touch from you
Made my heart... you know
When you held my waist I wished we could have stayed like that forever
But that ended
We went our separate ways
But still remained in that moment
Arguing about the night and day while the sun slowly rose in the east
Both fighting sleep just so we can keep talking to each other
But all good things must come to an end
It all felt like a dream but thank goodness it wasn't
Thank you Midnight

Him
His face
The sight brings a smile to yours
His eyes
You can stare into them forever
His lips
You wish you can kiss them
His hands
You wish you can intertwine them with yours
His mind
It intrigues you
His soul
You can love it for eternity
His heart
It doesn't belong to you
