Richard Frank Jan 2019
There was something mesmerizing about her face
Her skin as white as snow,
Seemingly conquered by winter
She was listening to music, with an elegant smile
Relishing upon the night wind
Like gravity,
She's like the force that keeps all the stars in the sky
The universe reveling against her glamorous beauty
Richard Frank Jan 2019
I was bonded with dreams and fantasies
May the heaven come down and hear it
It was lost in the stars
Soaring the heavenly skies so high
Flickering, Shining
Submerged in an emotional bliss,
Seemingly drunk of passion and contentment

Richard Frank Jan 2019
I was alone, lost in an intergalactic cosmos
Wandering across the river of stars, with nowhere to go
It was melancholic,
Not even the sprinkling light of the sun can reach
There was nothing mesmerizing about me
Even I was abandoned by Gods in the underworld
Lumped with the living dead, and perished souls
A rock to small to be noticed, too far to be seen
Too lost that I was forgotten
This is my first poem about a planet so it wasn't that good.
Richard Frank Jan 2019
It was said that we're all the same
Came from the same dust,
From the same collapsing star
But truth shines brighter than that of star
We were not all same
It's clear that you love that guy better than me
And its because we were not the same
A first short poem about sadness
Richard Frank Jan 2019
The cloud was lonely
The world was sad so it weeped
Tears fell from the sky
Another haiku
Richard Frank Jan 2019
He who knows the war will know peace
He who lives when faced with death
He was audacious when he descended from the ashes of fear
He was smiling when everyone was weeping
He knows peace
My first short poem that doesn't revolve on love
Richard Frank Jan 2019
The moon shines brightly
My soul is bounded to it
And I fell in love
My first haiku
