There's nothing from yesterday left,
And today's by no means a theft,
As there's nothing from yesterday left.

Like the moon
who diligently makes way
for the coming suns.

(And at a time, most unfortunate.)

He saw fit,
to loosen his grip...

And watched his heart
fall and turn into a million
ruby shards and splinters.
I used to hate myself,
because you hated me.
What a waste of energy.
Today I have moved on from you
and closer over to me.
I hear the wind
whipping through the freshly-leafed elm
its long sonorous undulating chord
is as light as sunbeams
as alive as the spring saps
rushing wildly up the redbud and pear
eager to burst out of their limbs
into green glory.
~
in limbo, paralyzed by inaction
and unsure of how to move forward
moodier and more menacing than ever before
a delicate state of mind is explored
all about seeing the beauty
in the darkness of futility
digging wells and all to happy
to throw us all down there
as images painted on an ancient vase, exploring
what it means to be frozen
in a moment of time for all eternity

I didn’t see it ever stopping
I wanted to be free
When will nothing hurt anymore?
I grew tired of guessing and failing
This is why I did it
I was tired and burnt out
Even my gut reminded me with a stabbing pain,
Reminded me of everything I would never and could never be
So with this note
I set myself free.

Don’t try to follow,
You’ll learn to live without me.

P.S. Your love was always enough. I had always spiraled so quickly, it was just too hard to catch myself this time.
Don’t worry about be, I’ll be fine I’ll be fine I’ll be fine
