for sure, one
word from you
is worth all I have ever
thought.

One thought of me
is pure heaven,
I can tell
when you do.

I know when you
think of me ,
the curtains draw back the
rainbow becomes

visible.
And I lose my breath
and stutter.
All the flowers suddenly

bloom the grass is green
on my lawn and the U.S. mail
delivers on time
that check,

I was waiting on.

danger on the rocks
in the tight jetties trying
to make a way to port
with one engine and water
swallowing
and I bailed one eye
to the shore and two on her *******
she was the bosses daughter
and well bred
a worthy mate
she heaved and hoed as I did
her bucket filled as mine was
throwing salty water over the port
bow with arms as smooth
as any sailor but no tattoos
until later
she had an anchor tattooed
on her , well keel,
when we made shore
and sank into the white beach
she said welcome aboard
and I took off my sea legs
and white sailors cap and saluted her,
gave an ahoy to all who could hear

If I could be as sweet and nice as I want to
be I  might make sick all of  humanity
I might make all of you high
talking about this world I dream of
where love is free there on the streets
food is words wine is flowing
no one is hungry and starving
we look at the unshaven
and the people with soils
the same as  looking in the mirror
or the shine of a silver spoon
all of  us as mighty
worthy of a hug
and kisses are of the quality
and frequency as the
complaining *******
bellowing out get a job
I have a job
a life
and a temporary position
trying to live up to the
biblical saying
do unto others
it seems the most religious are the
most deaf
and the richest the least generous
I have no proof
but my eyes
and hands on kind of ****
wisdoms. 'Scuse me
I need to relax.
Come with me,
the downtrodden.

Washed upon the sunny shore;
Once wet, became dry.

I meant something you did not
understand
I thought of people standing around
in a circle sharing love
not for you to literally kiss off, like kiss
my *** or anyone elses
*** or anything on them,
kiss off was figurative
like a symbol for the whole world singing
that Coke commercial,
remember that?
And how for a second you
got a warm *** feeling inside
when you saw it,
or a sweet puppies face,
seems we have empathy a'plenty for a dog
in hardship then we do for people
so how's about a kiss for me,
or the vagabond on the corner,
or the mom with five kids and no old man
or the forgotten old man or woman,
****,
we are all ******* ,
you know it?

if I did have a large room of money
wwwwould that make me what,
ggggreedier
if I had ten thousand or
  ten million

would I be any richer
I would smoke most of it up
probably
but I promise

there would be
a few others
to get a piece of it

i promise....
every time I check
my lottery numbers....

We load the road of our success
With boulders of forgetfulness,
Stumbling each time again
As if we were but mindless men.
Shrunken, looking drunken,
Mumbling, some grumbling,
We were people, but barely,
Rarely standing up to stress.
Preferring to dress in the rags
Like hags and hobos, up to elbows
In the trash we bought with cash
Instead of buying our birthrights
Back from those who ****** us
Then ignored us, we were needing,
Some bleeding, and dying
And nobody but us was crying.

We’d carry all those speed bumps
We carefully crafted with our hands
And let them stand before us
To deter us and divert us every day
But not in a diverting way like TV.
It was a travesty, a mummer’s play
In which we each played our part
But, not like art come to life, oh no
It was a horror show for fools
And it was our own tools and effort
That pulled together to create a ride
In a non-amusing park of suicide.
Many of us don’t notice the slide
Until everybody and everything
Is on the upside and we are not.
It’s a kind of mental, moral rot.
Then the travesty became a tragedy
For you and for me, endlessly.

Away...

Away, I am
from this blank page.
filled with an unknown
undefined rage.
Hatred inside grown
against whom
I cannot comprehend.

Looking for excuses,
drawing away from reality
spitting out curses
on the face of fake charity.

With love for green
I have traveled to places,
upon meeting people
I have not seen
happiness in their faces.

The tune still rings
inside my ***** head.
When will my dreams
grow the wings
needed to fly before
these eyes become dead.
Poems have become a satire to my own self.

I pray this day carries a blessing
With tender arms that embrace you
That you learn from all its lessons
As you take hold of God's truth

That as you stand on life's horizon
You sing all the songs unsung
That you catch every shooting star in passing
Every time that you look up

May every need in your life be met
May love in its love clothe you
May smiles turn up when your name is mentioned
As each day is made brand new

I pray you always find your way
Whatever direction you are tossed
And the faithful truth that grounds you
I pray it never will be lost

When your train pulls into the station
May it always be on time
With every turn that you are taking
May life's treasure be what you find

As each day carries a blessing
With tender arms that embrace you
Learning from all life's lessons
Standing firm on all God's truth
