the spark of a feathered flame
rains strokes of light upon dark,
lingering smoke punctuates the air
with a crisp question mark.
as colorful visions of tangled hands
seep from the cracks of my heart
You whisper
“our love was an adventure in which you chose to embark”

You came into my life,
Like a shooting star
Across the night sky
I never needed you,
but I wanted you
like a child wants a candy
like a man wants money
I wanted you for my selfish desires

THE POETRY SERIES

It is the poetry of little things that causes the earth to shred and shudder
The poetry of little things that ignites the greatest moments of bliss.
A smile from a little child,
A chuckle from a stranger.
The warmth of a knitted family
The entwining of old friends
The humming from the sea shores
The journey of the moonlight
The waves, the traveling waves
The Sea, the meandering sea
The Earth, the boundless earth
And the sweet song that nature sings.
These little things, garnered with the greatest love
Observed in silence
It is this poetry,
The poetry of little things that elicit the greatest happiness

Dreams they drown
under the Stone
under the Star

At least we
Stole The Show

Our Houdini act
of failed dedication
defiant to the End

Fragments float
up scenting a
stream with rotting
love locked
in the truck

Children forging
ripple across
a deafening dune

Flowers bow
their head to pray
lulled by the sound
of pillows

Our sappy creek nearby
sinks in time silence
trickles beyond
a graveyard

Was I in the wind
beyond clouds
beyond angels?
me or the machine?
Cooking on the stove
A regular day
Making breakfast
Sharp pain
Red running
Bathroom break
Kids fighting
Panicking
Giant red hearts
Weeping crying
Sharp pains
Mommy are you ok
Keeping me company
Sleeping
Dreaming
Waking
Wishing
Empty
Daylights

Life happens, beach breeze
Understanding, calm
Martinis lemonade
To share your feelings
It's a masquerade.
Love lips kiss,
Young lustful lies
50 years gone where
Old age dies.
Victim
Venom
Grief, hurt
Sleepless nights
Stranger for 6 years
