In this life
it would be nice
to have the certainty
that our struggles
have a purpose

Deathly Silence
from the sky
the trumpets
do not cry

while all around the world
children
are torn apart by bombs unfurled

And the parents
must dig
the graves

if the remains
from the rubble
they manage to save;

While their weeping
vanishes in the void,
many still believe war
it's just a toy.

A generation
born surrounded by ashes,
knows nothing
but death
and clashes;
wrecked homes,
shattered dreams,
broken lives,
without peace,
thousands of orphans
we will keep counting.

My Dear Poet
If you don’t work hard
you never earn

If you don’t make mistakes
you never learn

If you don’t fuel that fire
you never burn

If you don’t wait patiently
you’ll miss your turn

Cowards
fire into the crowd,
now bullet casings
are daily bread.

mountains of the dead
cast into the oblivion of indifference.

La guerra dimenticata
ormai passata di moda,
montagne di morti
gettate nell’oblio dell’indifferenza
