I’m really a funny chap;
I love this strange world,
but I’m lost here like a bird without legs.
He was a phenomenon wrapped in silver skin
With brown eyes, crooked teeth
And craters above his collarbones that caught the rain
His chest was made of ocean more than bone
And I folded my promises into paper boats
And sailed them along his body
His hands caught the distance between us
With every word his cheeks would descent

*"I burnt holes into the darkest of skies
Allowing you to see that even at night
The angels still spill through the cracks"
I take the last boat on the Icchhamati River.

the huddled shadows in the gloam
talk of home
a waiting bed
before climbs the moon overhead.

In little comforts voices bask
amid oars sloshing the night
and  I brood in silence
neath the  northern star

how far is home
how far?
The day is green
And these chemicals are making me feel romantic.
I’m watching the children blink their eyes 182 times
A minute while the pilots of twenty one planes pass by.
The boys have fallen,
There has been a panic at some sorta disco
And the world is at the lowest of all times.

I'm in the middle
of crying
and trying.
Trying to be the girl
who makes herself happy without you,
the girl who can survive the whole day
without seeing you
and
the girl who can live her life to the fullest
without you.

But maybe it's true
that I should not just try,
instead I should do

I should do it
for myself
for my life
not for you
or anyone
but for me

Because after all
it's always gonna be my choice,
my life, and
my heart.

I am on a boat
Skies black and smokey
They tell me to go to my room
But I can’t
She’s there

They tell me I’ll die if I stay on deck
I’d rather die than to look upon her face again
Go, they yell, there’s no one in your room, but I know
I see her
She sees me

I go, I have to, I’ll confront her, I will, I have to, she haunts me
I approach, the room is dark, she’s there, she doesn't make a sound
I enter the room and lightning crashes, I see her, standing in the corner
I see her
She’s there

She runs at me and grabs my shoulders, I freeze, her face melts in front of me, she screams
The noise is piercing and unearthly, her nails dig in, her mouth black, her eyes hollow, her bones bare
I Try fighting, she's too strong, she moves her black face towards me,
I try to claw at her eyes, push her away
*But I can’t
She sees me
