Jody Arias!
Jody Arias!

Let’s not forget
what you’ve done to us
When you find the ****
That is the most to ya
Don’t try to play
It’s just today for ya
Cuz she may have
Another way
in store for ya
whether she comes through
the front door
Or that doggie’s little door for ya
You’re gonna have to make some
extra room for Ma

Said she’s not your shorty no more
T.
No more P.
said our Miss Jody

You ****** the wrong chick.

Jody!
I said
Jody Arias!
Her love life was so precarious
Her lover so nefarious
Treating her like a *****
little piece of ***
The result of which was not so hilarious
Salacious? She?
Predacious? He?
Predacious? She?
Salacious? He?
Who’s to say?
Really.

Said she’s not your shorty no more
T.
No more, T.
said our Miss Jody

You ****** the wrong chick.

He thought he’d get his perfect first wife
And start that brand new life.
Jody?
Can you hear me?

O Travis
my dear dear Travis
They did try to ******’ warn your ***
Her hands more nimble than Thelonious
Your end more wretched than felonious
This hookup
for you
rather deleterious
Looks like she took your picture laying near the glass

Said she’s not your shorty no more
T.
No more P.
said our Miss Jody

Some very good friends sat around in their basement
I think we've all been here before
The room of course was smokey and wasted
The four buddies were bored right out of their gourds

They all thought they should do something special
So they decided to build a rocket ship
Throwing a bunch of old plywood together
They then sat around, smoked some more, and planed their spacey trip

Jody spoke up first and said let's go to the moon
But they'd heard that had already been done
That's when he came up with the brightest idea
I know what!  We'll go to the sun!

Go to the sun?!  We may be high but we're not crazy!!
They replied, this ships made out of wood
That's when Jody explained his brilliant idea
Nodding like Bobble Head dolls they all understood

As Jody dug deeper into his intricate plan
All the guys seemed to like it a lot
They would go when it's dark in the middle of night
When the suns put out and it isn't so hot

Since Jody's the genius, they put him in charge
He seems to have a grasp on what's left of his brain
There were four of them but only room for two
They drew straws 'cause they were having difficulty remembering their names

The straws turned out to be the same length
Cutting them, somebody forgot
So they picked Jody as their Captain Kirk
And Jason as his sidekick Spock

Out in left field, the excitement was contagious
Jody yelled, 'To infinity and Beyond'
They knew that quote came from some famous movie
But had a memory lapse so they gave him more Bobble Head nods

At that point they realized they had no engine
Being impaired, not a one of them cared
They all went back down into the basement
And took another kind of trip without going anywhere

To Jody;
My five years old friend and nephew

I put down the telephone,
entering a nap of elation,
till the echo of your sweet utterance
On the back of expatriation's wind
Swims away, dims.
By then, medusas of melancholy with their thick sorrow
fill up my throat
and my heart
would blindfolded fall on the knees and
die down…

With good and bad big wolves
tracing lost children or stuffing shaking goat kids into their paunch.
With ravenous bears, malignant hyenas
and crude giants,
garrulous  gracious squirrels, laborious ants
and active voracious hares.
With them, the two of us
had upholstered the land and sky of the wonderland,
and with their voices and whoops all,
we had irritated the dreamland's walls.

No matter how many times
we were building the villages for stories of straw, furze sticks and bricks,
I would only visit your house of mattresses and pillows.

Only for you,
I did revived the dead wolf
in order to revenge the "predatory" lumberjack.
With no regret I kept sending "wolfy" to the roasted chicken's shop
to defeat the hunger,
So that he won't eat the trapped little girl.
And before your smile,
the wolf in walrus moustache would play with the girl till daddy comes and takes her home.

And you are …
popping out, never closing the wide eyes of yours,
waiting for grandpa to take us to the village.
Up from the houses' roofs,
with Qarmeetlak's1 rabbits,
beyond the barbwires and in secret,
we stick the tongues out to the Turkish barracks.
Along with goat kids,
in tracking smugglers' traces,
we fool the landmines,
sneak to the other side of the border.
With smiley faces and hidden bleats,
We ****** the poppies and the grass that grow out from the edges of spring and the craters.
We hide from smuggler's ghosts who
in the  labyrinths of landmines
because of the unclaimed hands and legs are grabbing the collars.
We taunt the jackals' yowling and the patrolmen.
And in front of the rumbling sky, we do our best to look prettier;
Isn't  it "God taking photos of us"?
And like coward puppies we flee and go back to the safe village,
just before the dusk's winds could carry our smell to the angry spirit of Salan2
who is scouring the Kurmanj's Mountain3,
pursuing his endless vengeances.

Till the break of day,
with your slim clever squirreliness,
out of the branches of the most interlocked sorrowful stories,
you were shaking the attached laughs and guffaws
on the  hair of the deceiver Ashrafieh and the grumpy Sheikh Maksood's4 night.
Eventually, in taking its revenge,
the night would stuff you in a small basket and throw you away into the waves of sleep and dream
accompanied with all that eager to see the giants' kingdom and the mice's storehouses,
squirrels' village, their dances and bridals,
the departure will lead you to the waterfalls' cliffs of a dreamy sparrow's new day.
With the beaming love out from our eyes,
you dry up your tousled feathers and
take into the open.

Nevertheless, how simple-hearted the lies were when I kept telling you:
"Dog is a dog, a wolf is a wolf and the kitty is a kitty, and what are we, my Jody?
We are humans!"

I didn't want you to know
how in the world, could a dozen of
rabid armed dogs
smash down the door
and out from your eleven months old eyes,
with a persistent thronged barking,
they did take your dad away to the deepest liars of the ranch of malevolence,
introducing him to all kinds of animality.

How might I explained to you
why in the world, they reduced 'dad' for you
to that thing which every month
from behind a doubled bars
keep sending you a tearful laugh?
Why did they minimized the ancient capital for you into
both of the Political Security Branch and Siednaya's Jail5?

Your fingers had just started taking to writing and drawing.
You had just started
cantering your own stories
along with unsaddled breezes' foals
when herds of jackals with dark mouths
deported 'your Azad' into a fool refuge.
Again,
they
made
you
an orphan.

Inside the brushwood of the story and the wilderness of the epic,
since neither your fingers have become able to rise the sign of victory correctly,
nor could your throat match the letters of 'Kurdistan' properly,
whatever cave you step in,
no matter how shiny is the globe in the witch's hands,
she would never be able to tell you,
these lacrimatory mist and clouds,
with the emerging of every spring,
from which valleys of the ranch of malevolence
did they come to overflow the Kurdish neighborhoods.
How did they vilely with no permission go up to the third floor
in order to join you in a poisoned feverish soiree.
And since when
the creatures of darkness
that they had brought
have been grazing their hyenas
among our fresh hopes.

Hence…
when I tell you that
I'll come back with the snowfall,
it is nothing but a lie!
When you ask me to come back in summer
in order to hang on my back
and swim together
along with the little fishes,
such an imagination!
When you are not sleeping in my empty bed anymore
Intending to let my pillow and blanket await for
my return,
only a childish dream!!
Yet, when you
in the sweet and soft Afrini accent of yours
say to me
'Ozod, I mithed you thoo thoo thoo much',
my heart
would blindfolded fall on the knees and
die down…

are you a Jezabel
or
are  you a Jody

why do they  always
come to each other

are they two lonley people
that is missing something
or
are they two lonley people
that is missing somebody

is it lust there looking for
or
are they looking for  somebody

the feelings they have for each other
are the feelings thay they hide

the feeling of lust they commit
will always be theirs

sit down, pen and paper scrape together,
come up with something clever.

                                                         blank mind

stare at the paper-don't doodle!
holding your head in your hand is not writing-
supposed to be writing
all of these skillfully woven thoughts that should be
bursting forth, but aren't.

stop spell checking, do it later. maybe that's the answer:

                                     automatic writing

OK go into trance let the pen and hand dance.
don't think, let the ink flow from the inside to the surface,
you're thinking on purpose...stop it! OK this is obviously not working,
it's just jerking off and it doesn't even feel good, although it should.

Come up with a subject, not abstract thought...wait...thought has no
place here. where is the Muse? I'll blow a fuse if I don't get to use a
clever phrase I turned today. what about childhood walks in the woods,
first love, real love, not in-puppy-love with Jody Foster!

during the day all the stuff that's enough to fill a book gets wasted
and lambasted. I'm mad as hell and here I sit
broken hearted did my time and only started three hours ago.
could have taken a tour by now and, holy cow!, the Tao probably took
less time to write than this night of the living dead man
with two pinky and the brains.

where the hell am I going with this clap trap? this is out of hand, out
of mind-otherworldly. is this all that i am:

                                    meaningless gobbeldy-****

I'm getting spooked. it's time to stop and drop the needle on a different track,
stop the attack sit back relax choose to lose my senses, dulled and lulled into
false pretenses, mend some fences with myself, or else.

Or else, what? Not contemplate, deliberate, speculate, ruminate, investigate,
radiate...KNOCK IT OFF! Just put the pen down, get up, walk out of the room.

You are the sun,
You are the moon.
You outshine all the stars,
You float around like a pretty tune.

I see your weaknesses behind your smile,
How you accept your faults knowing it’s all worthwhile.
Don’t let your worries take over and drown you,
Let them paint your canvas,
See the chance of something new.
all the words I could write for you still wouldn’t be enough.

Prom. I'm not Pretty In Pink. I'm not Cinderella at the ball. List of saving graces: My dad slipped me drugs during the father-daughter dance; I had my best friend to help me the whole night. Insights: my principle was a dumb-***; the sight of Jody during a panic-attack makes my world spiral & fall down a million shattered glass hills, the no-escape land where chests turn into cages & clench lungs so hard they can't make full breaths & hands turn into ADHD fire ants, pushing and & twisting skin until raw, scratching necks and arms nervously & don't mind the drawn blood, sweetie. Where politics & family trees go on forgotten & why did they send HER heroutgetherout I can't do this Tom. Where I'm backed up in a corner & I'm stuck in the no-escape land. Clastrophobia; why are all these people around me? Swarming me. Incessant little panic bees swirling constantly touching always "don't ******* touch me!!" & Tom is raising his voice at them; I can hear the volume and the sheer chaotic amount of noise but can't distinguish the words. &then; the panic bees file & march forward, nothing to see here, folks. "It's just me & you," he's telling me "they don't matter" & he's looking at me & then the breathing concentrations & the pain in my throat & the chest loosens a bit & I can feel the pulled muscles all over me & I can climb up the glass hills & the shakes? Oh, they don't stop for a looong while.

i was chillin one night
sitting in the clouds
talkin **** with the insomniac
when we thought of the question
what if we could transform
i began to figure out
what might actually take form
understand my imagination is crazy
in my mind all is possible
im tryin to look forward
so it might be futuristic
not like the jetsons
its gonna be realistic
some practical that might
help us out in some sort
making the human race more lazy
making our life her not worth it
shortly after nature kicks in
we get fat and wont walk
then great *** we will lack
men and women get restless
and things will get grizzly
not for me at least cause
in my mind im fit and well
with the power to turn
the pretty girls into supermodels
and keep the bitter ones
lookin like a blue whale

as u can see i think pretty awkward
id wanna be gigantic
but i gotta take flying lessons
because i gotta get some wings
to fly over my problems
and fly straight to the meanings
super strength to beat them down
then a lot of marksmanship
to make sure they stay down
my imagination is cautious
so i threw that one in
just to cover my end

but then i begin to think
about those that need help
so i begin to imagine
a being to lend a hand
maybe a super hero
in a 3rd world country
giving children water to drink
so they can have a chance
to grow and develop
maybe have an imagination
and dream just like me
then make that dream
an all too needed reality
you never know about
that kid you call a habeeb
he might discover the death
to that monster we call ***

but who am i to say
my imagination makes sense
Jody Breeze would feel me
he agrees wit it all day
cause my bro and i
we fly in the clouds since
you cats aint think freely
so using my mind
with the function god gave me
ill wonder how we will devise
a shortcut in nature
to alter our appearance
in this market based reality
cause if enough people
step up for to the table
to sign the medical clearance
pigs will fly
madness will multiply
the cosmos would be fried
and half the world might die
that means police would have wings
to catch "criminals" who wouldnt
steal but whose cousin has steel
that gives pigs halos to match
those wings given in police training
but thats my paranoia
in my silly imagination
i might sound crazy to
most close minded fools
so ill stay in my clouds
and contemplate
a perfect transformation
to slap onto the slate
to help us better our state
of mind and put us in the groove
to soothe our stress
refuse to use our heat
and become completely cool

for most of us our first love song
was written in the middle of a first grade day,
between reading and math class
where instead of
1+1=2
it was
you+i=forever

even though forever was an apple sauce after dinner
and a kiss on the forehead of your loving mother

heartbreak was the next day when you realized that
each day at lunch time would be an opportunity the
universe would offer up a chance at a tear or two in front
of an unforgiving school, in front of the first girl you'd
hate forever

even though forever was a game of catch and a
nice long talk about girls with your loving father

forgiveness was so much easier in the days before body
hair and friday night despair, when you could sit on your
wooden chair and carve next to Jody's name her replacement

for most of us our first love song
was written in the middle of a first grade day,
between recess and time to go home,
where instead of
1+1=2
it was
you+i= forever

i think that
a long time ago
you told me that you thought i was cute

but that was only after i said it first

maybe i looked too far into it
maybe i thought
oh
maybe he wants to date
maybe he wants to kiss me
or hold my hand
or make mix tapes

but i think i was just looking
too far into things
but maybe that's what we're supposed to do

my english teacher
made us read
their eyes were watching god
and she said that jody
wanted to be high above everyone else
and that's why he stood up on the box
when he lit the streetlight
that he had bought
maybe he wanted to be above everybody else
but maybe that was because
he'd always been below someone
ya know?

How I feel right now doesn’t matter.
‘Cause I’ll say I’m ok.
Yet still I’m wondering why do you love me?
It feels... I feel so out of place.
I know you’re looking for answers lovie
But I don’t know what to say to you.
I’m holding, dearly, my bad emotions.

Last night in the shore we killed that scene.
Whatever I was feeling it.
Now my alarm clock wakes from the dream
And reality’s back, I gotta deal with it.
All of these strangers became new friends.
New stories wrote with old pens.
Same picture seen with a new lens.
But that was only for the weekend.
Drunk nights get remembered more than sober ones.
I just can’t remember how the night begun.
Order up, I don’t know from where these drinks came,
But I know that I remember those strippers by their real names.
Jody? Maxine?
It’s all the same, they were pawns in my fantasy.
****….did I say that?
I’m just lost and I’m tryna find my way back.
But instead I found my way into your bed
Now I’m thinking about everything you whispered in my head like
“I been searching for you my whole life.”
“I think I wanna be your wife.”
And none of that even computes.
I can’t imagine me settling down, laying the roots.
I gotta slip out of here before
You wake up and read the note I left on your drawer.
‘Cause I know you’ll be full of questions
And I’ll have to be real and give you my confession
That I know you’re looking for answers lovie
But I don’t know what to say to you.

I’m holding, dearly, my bad emotions.

Her tears soak my shoulder
As her grip grows ever tight
Her daddy got a new job
No longer working longest nights
I utter just a sniffle
As my hand glides along her back
So much more than a friend
Is leaving on those steel train tracks
That moment drags on forever
As she reminds me what we've been through
And abruptly she grabs her things and leaves
And I'll never get the chance to say
"I love you"

Goodbye Jody

Jody was one cool cat.
Sporting his white applejack hat.
Sprouting street corner philosophy.
Singing show tunes on one knee.
Putting his jar out for tips.
While drinking wine in little sips.

The governments promises,
Are nothing more than lip service,
Trying to fix corpses with bandages,
Yet although nothing changes,
Why do citizens still give em roses?
As if they are in hypnosis?
And If they are it may explain the psychosis.
For electing a drama teacher that’s lawless.
The idiotic nature of this,
Is simply flawless.
Really can Canadians be more thoughtless?
Voting in Castro Junior,
How scandalous.
Let me guess the SNC-Lavalin affair,
Was nothing more than an entanglement?
And the WE charity was just an accident,
Or doing black face was supposed to be a compliment.
Let me guess you must also think,
Canada being trillions of dollars in debt is an accomplishment.
Or that firing Jody Wilson-Raybould is just apart of progress?
