Insomnia
Veronica Feb 2015
A tired body desperately wishing for relief. Eye's like red, burning flames. Voices straight from Hell screaming loudly into your ears. Muscles sore and shoulder's stiff from carrying the weight of the entire universe. No mattress could ever feel like Heaven, no pillow could ever feel like soft clouds.

I am sick and I am tired. I cannot think, I cannot write, I cannot fully appreciate the beauty of life or the mysteries of death or the light or the darkness or whatever lies beyond the beyond. I live in the void, I am simply just existing. I am sick but I will recover, one day.
One day.

You are a drug.**
It sounds cliché but I swear you really are.
You make my mind dance and my thoughts run all over the place.
Your touch is a shock of electricity, a wave of power traveling my body.
You are a vivid portrait of different shapes and beautiful colors, lovelier than any rainbow.
You make my breathing feel heavy.
You make my heart race to the very thought of you.
You are my fix.
You are the reason my palms get sweaty, my body shakes.
Hearing your lovely voice is enough to get me high, just one word, one hit.
You're addicting.

Think of yourself as a box; chained with an iron lock.

What would you be guarding?
Tell me!

Loneliness
Veronica Dec 2014
It feels like you're drowning.
Heavy weight in your chest, heavy eyes full of tears.
Longing for someone so desperately.
It feels like you're hanging on thin thread.
It feels like you're a fish with no water.
The desperation is crazy.

Your body is beautiful architecture.
A painting on a canvas.
Every curve, so heavenly.
I ache.
You're perfection

Girls
Veronica Dec 2014
Pink sugared candies, crimson cherries, sweet angels.
They are magical creatures with eyes that can pierce through concrete.
Baby faces, ***** lips, caramel apples with a toxic core.
They are roses that smell just as sweet even after they have been cut,
they have thorns like razor blades.
They are chest pains, beautiful lullabies.
They are lovely nightmares.
Had this in my phone for a while. This is how I describe girls.

Short Trip With You
Veronica Dec 2014
Every note intensified, I think about every breath I take and feel every single nerve in my body.
Blood circulating over my skin, or is it under?
Warm tingling tongue dancing.
Colors moving all across the room, bouncing and combining.
Sweat feeling like a cold kiss on my neck.
I feel the ground pushing me and gravity pushing back.
The weight of the universe on top of us but it does not feel that heavy.
I feel your body close and warm, almost as if we were always just one person.
Every heart beat is long and slow and then fast and short or is it just the beat of the music playing?
Objects flying.
Every kiss more passionate,
Feeling our lips melting together as we become one.
Our energy radiating.
Every kiss like another hit.

A Song of Angry Men
Veronica Dec 2014
They cannot ignore us anymore.
They cannot **** us all.
They cannot tear us apart and treat us like garbage on the side of a busy street.
They throw tear gas and gunfire.
Bullets ricochet.
We still keep fighting.
They cannot take away our rights without a fight.
We stand together as one nation fighting for what is ours.
We will never back down.
We will never fall silent.
Police brutality, dictatorship, basic human rights.
We need to be heard.
Our voices will ring.
About the protesting going on around the world, I support all of you who are staying strong and peacefully marching in the face of authority. Take care.
