How could you know!
I never told you.
But how did my eyes fail,
In telling you what my heart longed to!
How did your heart not tell you,
When it saw my quivering lips!
Why were the outstretched hands of my shadow met with nothingness,
When they used to have the warmth of yours, always!
When did we grow so apart, that my words seem to echo,
in my own mind.
When did we lose each other,
In this journey of finding one another!

In the silence of the beautiful night sky,
he held her hand.
The vast sand beneath
and the endless ocean,
looked at them in awe.
There were a million words, unspoken,
but there,
in a moment
everything that mattered
was told.
At times, you don't need words to convey your feelings to the ones you love

The stars are the same,
Yet the sky somehow looks different.
The wind is the same,
The aroma, I reckon, is missing.
The buildings look just the same,
But I don’t recognise any.
The crowd looks at me knowingly,
And yet there’s no familiar face.
I speak volumes,
But the inherent soul is missing.
I have lived here for a while,
Yet home is missing.
Or is it just me..

Don’t ask me
how I am
‘cause fine I can
never be

When you think
I’m happy and carefree
I’ve just drowned myself
in your company

When you see me
dancing in the rain
you fall in love
with me yet again

For me, I’m just
trying to lose
myself in the
dripping pain

When you see me
laughing hysterically
you think to yourself
you’ve found a gem

Me, I’m just
trying to hold back
all my tears that may
breakout my inner self

For you, I tried to
put on a happy face
and many a time
feel it too

But somehow
this pain is
far too
deeply etched

I don’t know
if these chains
are made by me
‘cause really
I try to break free

But every single time
I find myself
clutched more tightly
by these killing flames

I didn’t choose to love you,
I just fell in love
with the way you looked at me
when we first met.

We spoke for the first time
but I had never felt
more at ease
even with the best
of my friends

There was an assurance
in your unspoken words
and I knew that
I’ll always be safe
in your arms

We talked endlessly
from dusk to dawn
and I had no inkling
on how time went by
when we were together

I loved the way
I could always be me
when you were around
and not be afraid
of being judged

I loved spending sleepless nights,
dreaming and yet
waking up fresh
with the sun

I loved the way
you always brought out
the best in me
nevermind the situations

I loved how remembering
each moment spent with you
brought a smile to my face
even in the worst times

I loved how we could
have the worst arguments
and still wake up next morning
with a sweet smile
knowing it will be okay

I loved how
having you by my side
gave me the strength
to face whatever
might come

I loved how
I didn’t choose to love you
I just fell in love
with everything you are
and everything I am with you.

I'll let you hurt me..
I'll let you tear my heart out..
I'll let you burn my insides..
I'll let you **** a part of me..
I'll die one bit at a time..
I'll cry with all my might..
What I won't let you do is.. take my dreams away!!
I won't let you take away the light that leads me on!!
I won't let you take away my breath!! My life!!
I won't let you take away anything that I hold dear!!
For when you'll be tired of making me suffer..
I'll get up..
And I'll put back all the pieces that you have shattered..
And that day.. I'll make sure..
I'm much better at everything you tried to ruin me at..
For everything that tries to pull you down,
there is a little something inside you,
which if you hold on to,
you'll be able to make it through

To everyone else,
she was crying
for no "apparent" reason.
Only she knew,
she had put together
all the broken pieces
of her heart.
She could finally let go
of all her pain...

How the years pass by
and sweet memories fade away!
Look at the names written
on the old classroom desks
covered in a thick layer of dust.
Do you see them?

The clock was ticking.
I sat waiting for a miracle from God.
At the end of a lifetime, it dawned upon me.
It was the ticking of the clock.
We don't realise how much we can change in the time that we spend waiting for someone to change things for us.

Take me with you
like the yellowed leaf
flying with the eastern wind.
Let me run wild
free and spirited
finding peace into your arms.
Let us rest in some far off cliff
and seek the path to
a land where yellowed leaves
and eastern winds
are let to live and to love

When each tear drop
is so beautifully cast
in a fit of anger, so natural
When each sense of pain
of hurt and despair
is artistically draped
into the most amazing smile
When each cry for help
for care and love
is silenced
by your own jokes
How then are even your
close ones to know you?
