Vital Queen

the world is
full of
people who can't
make eye
contact.
so you stare
them down
all at
once,
and come out through
the back
of their heads.
keep going baby girl,
blink back
their
divided houses.
follow the waving beam of
light.
you vital Queen,
slouch in
your throne
and
scratch your
******!
make mercy beg
for your
forgiveness,
leave your
scent upon
the "blind deaf
stone".
sell *** back to
itself, if it
cheapen the
thrall of your
ecstasy.
yours is the only
dance i know
truer than
matter,
as matter.
you lost your
mind to smaller
ones, who could
not find proof of yours.

I was walking
and the ocean
was above my knees

I didn't feel the cold
or mist hanging silent
above, but I knew
the darkness, old friend,
longer than I will admit

I knew the waves
in ways I know
I could never explain

You found me there
and called out for me
to come out of that grave
I was sinking in, I don't know
how deep I would have gone
had you not known my name

I should drop to my knees
and kiss the salt from your feet
thanking you with the sea on
my lips and leak salt of my own
offering gratitude for calling

Thank you through the mist
and waves, thank you for
my heart beating, not feeling
the cold, for my lips that never
tasted the lightless far below

Thank you for following
my footprints when I was lost,
drowning in a sea of sorrow.

Soul, trascendental tether to infinity
Voice of instincts & individuality
Ever will I endeaver to reflect this inner self in my personality
Allow this abstract apparition to cast its ambitions through my identity
We all begin with the same block of stone, family carving away deliberately, often in fits of spontaneity
Every person we touch takes a piece away and impacts our reality.
Now we're old enough to carve our souls into actuality
Its been within me since my infancy still I struggle to perpetuate its conceptuality
On occasions when I can summon its voice to my lips its gone just as quickly & I mourn for the brevity
All I'm left with in my renderings is a fragile, frugal effigy -how could a mortal hope to attain the likeness of divinity?

sometimes you read the colours of the sky
and know deep down your place
where you stand in the great scheme.

The Earths fire is still alive
she spews it, sometimes
to let you know she's still there.

Red lava, redder than Mars
and hot as the Sun
the deepest ocean.

The Earth lent you her dust
gave you form
runs warm in your blood.
everything of
me was choir-song

every bolt of
air,
every summer
moon,
every drop of
cooling rain,

in spring i
melted like
a hedgerow,
in gold and
sky-bronze,

in summer i
gathered the sky
to my branches
green with shadows
of longing,

in autumn i trembled
downwards like a
girl unwinding her
hair,

and in winter i froze
on the doorstep
all black branch
and cold
rigging on
a barren ship,

everything of me
was choir-song and
i had the most
beautiful
purple throat,

i was a soft
melody of love
on a strange
moody day.

The poems I burn
Give off more heat
Than light.
