"ravishment" poems
Should I long that dark were fair? Say, O song.
Lacks my love aught that I should long?
Dark the night with breath all flow'rs
And tender broken voice that fills
With ravishment the list'ning hours.
Whis'prings, wooings,
Liquid ripples, and soft ring-dove cooings,
in low-toned rhythm that love's aching stills.
Dark the night, yet is she bright,
For in her dark she brings the mystic star,
Trembling yet strong as is the voice of love
From some unknown afar.
O radiant dark, O darkly foster'd ray,
Thou hast a joy too deep for shallow day.
4.8k
In dazzled astonishment
She looked up from her reverie
As she heard the flap of wings overhead
And saw the flash of laser beams in her dim lit room
Before her, stood a winged seraph
A radiant silhouette with such gentleness and grace
As never beholden on any human face
With its hands raised in benediction,
It saluted Mary and said
“Blessed art thou amongst women…
……………………………………
The rest she heard in a trance.
Unable to comprehend what was said,
The girl looked up nonplussed.
Again it said, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee
And a son shall be born of thee
Whom you shall call Jesus”
In that nanosecond of a new revelation
Did Mary’s world shatter like glassware
Or did her ****** womb thrill with new life
Did she swim in the waters of joyful tidings?
Or gyrate in the sweeping swirl of tidal waves
For the girl already espoused to a man
In whose dreams his comely form had begun
Flitting in and out
Was it a moment of silent ravishment?
Or of stupefied bewilderment
Did a dagger cut through her heart?
Or did her soul take wing in flight???

Adoring you is uncomplicated. The way in which, refreshment comes with your ravishment is treasured spectacle, and though your fans are many, this one broods. Pining for glimpses into your tortured terrine, stories of unplumbed eternity, depths of you, titillate. How more curious you become as onion peels, layers on layers. A sweet onion I might add. Yet still, one that brings tears. Tears, joyous tears, cliche of cliche, reconcile charm with burden of unknowing how an allium could come into a world, stinking, but make gourmet a dish.

my ***** Little Secret, symbolized
by ***** words and little idiosyncrasies and
secret secret liaisons;
je c'adore,
laying Control alongside
cast off clothing and kicked off wet *******
heartbeat aflutter beneath your
oh so deliberate ministrations and
thighs aquiver beneath your
oh so deliberate teeth.
my wrists chafe; bound by bitter steel to demure wood,
powerless
or rather
entirely in your power.
you've always loved it,
the thrill of exploration, of
Newfoundland, of
conquer and subjugation and ravishment;
your tongue flickering against my
**** like eiderdown,
fingertips tracing spirals and Möbius
Strips upon my *******

We are two wolves
Tearing at each other’s flesh
Biting in with savage need
Pushing and pulling for dominance.
We are two wolves
Working off of undiluted instincts
Of euphoric animalism.
We rip away our human pelts
And reveal our battle worn skins
Blemished with past wars and historic victories.
We are two wolves
Growling with pleasure and an insatiable appetite.
Digging our incisors into each other’s flesh
And grazing our claws down one another’s backs.
We score each other’s bodies
With nips, kisses, and tongue
Demanding one to admit the others rule.
To surrender and go docile.
But we are two wolves
Fighting each other
Each step of the way
With unadulterated ravishment.

there are no safe words
in love
except for
YES
for we are devoured
helplessly by each other
through a rose window invitation
of delicate kisses
and shared dreams
putting an end to desolations cruel gnaw
YES
to the beginning of dependency
cowardice and war
mirth and ravishment
frustration and fulfillment
periods of ruin and building up
but
the face of time withers all
everything in time my dear
there are no safe words
in love
except for
YES
yes to all that is given
and every bitter pill*

From thy lips
I have taken your sin
As the stars bear witness
like lamps
hanging from depthless vaults
of midnight blue
Your words
passing through electric fields
across land and sea
inflame me
for every day, each passing night
that you are not here.
Let me write your name
that has passed my lips
like a prayer of release
all over my body
like fingerprints
to mark me forever
as yours.
Let them find me here
In gossamer clouds
longingly staring at the moon
wanting of your touch,
your kisses,
your love.
Stay here with me
For it is not day
But the moon taking her steps
languorously
To keep you here with me
Away from the cold light of dawn.
How I pray that this must be so!
Time hasten your stride
For I tire of waiting
enduring every second too long
And bring my love to me-
Him and the sea salt taste of his skin,
his fiery breath upon my neck,
the caramel sweetness of his tongue.
Bring me his wondrous laughter
Or the cadence of his voice
so that I can store those notes in my heart
to claim them as my own
As his promise of ravishment
Hangs in the air
Like some heavy, perfumed fruit
the only cure for this hunger
that consumes me,
heart, body and soul.
Heavy sighs do I release, oh wondrous night,
And I hope it reaches my love,
wherever he may be tonight.

she loves
the human
hand...
kisses on
the forehead...
and ******
ravishment.
if her head
found its way
to my chest...
there'd be
no more schism~

When darkness falls,
I shall be there.
caressing your hand
with my labor of love.
Do not be foolish.
I am no awakening.
Destined only
to protect your holy.
Keep calm my dear,
for i am here.
I'll fill your life
with light and love.
The feeling of ravishment
will guide your body
as i keep you save
in my beating heart.
My love for you
is ever-lasting.
I shall be a huntress
when darkness falls.
I shall not let gloom
prey in your way.
So believe me
my love
when i say i'm ready
to take the challenge
when Darkness Falls.

I met you here,
in this nowhere.
Between us was
a world made
of a single
held breath
& we unfolded
it so carefully.
Then we
exported
hundreds of
pages, fragile
& subtle,
& my poems
released their
grip on sorrow.
Blue gardens
in your smile,
sun's epochs
in your laugh.
There are no
sane words to
describe you.
Ropes of
champagne,
thickets of joy,
moon-pure,
hazeled Pisces,
canyon of
ravishment.
Our cheeks
ached
with bliss.
The world only
makes sense
through you.
Your hand-cut
bangs and
slender neck...
Something knocks
over in the night -
it's my soul.

There will come a day
When you wake to her sleeping
In solace enrapturing
Silence of mourning
All of her elegance muted in slumber
Appearing to you in its muses no longer
For furies at war in your head are the thunder
Of Zeus' insatiable ravishment hunger
Now tearing asunder your hearts in the void
As the distance impending consumes you, destroyed
Is the union you knew to be true in its love
But the one you feel isn't yet with you
Above
