I found myself in a land free of troubles
Then came shaking
The world turned inside out
Now the falling
Panic rushing through me
What was that?
Faint whisper
I can't make it out
Then it comes louder
You
Need
To
Wake
Up
Then it all crumbles
I'm back
Good morning

Fright

Upon my hands I hold fear
It isn't something I hold dear

It frightens me in reality
It hunts my dreams

It tells me
"Nothing is as it seems"

Upon day break it speaks softly
But at night it is loud

Gathering in my head a large un silent crowd

It whispers about demons
It whispers about legions

About how they will choke me in my sleep
If I was to dare fall to deep

So I stay awake
As he tortures me overnight
He is my enemy and his name is fright

Some heavens ago
I loved you 'til I dropped
On my knees in the bathroom
(Hands chaining my head to the floor,
Body detaining my soaring heart)
And questioned reality,
Wagged my jammed forefinger
At the face of an ungodly god
For permitting my lust for you,
The sin smelling of musty sweat
And fake baking soda
To hide that unsure scent around me—
My primal instincts call your bluff
And I raise myself once more
To hunt for your wild soul,
The game hot and weary
But mortally necessary.
With eyes unsheathed you
Stand aloof—
I'm aiming right at your heart.
He was pretty cute

You toss my heart around like a toy yo-yo on a thin fraying string
Oh please watch that string,
Fear swells in my throat like child's gumball
Please don't let that string fray to far
I'm trusting you with so much
But Please Please don't let my heart go swinging into an abyss
No
I was tempted
to bear your pain
once

my fire dried tears
that were mine…….
after your betrayal

nobody knows my heart and all my secrets

just the moon in the night, watching

just the sun shining down in summer

just the morning fog lifting from the water.

thank god that so far my brain knows nothing at all.
