By His love I will know
The world is better
By His mercy I'll follow
The way that He leads
By the glory of Jesus
The wonder and hope
By the power and majesty
All that is His name
I'll stand to adore and
To forever praise Him
By His truth and His glory
Glory to God
By His name, by His mercy
By the joy that I have now
Takes me to places that He
Leads me by His grace
By all that is His
All that will always be
Brings endless hope and peace
To a broken and hurting world
By His name, by His joy
There will be wonders to hold us
Wonders to bring us together forever
In  His ever lasting peace

The Wanderer
Things might start off slowly
But we've mastered the art of losing control
The act alone takes the reins
As our bodies fall into each other
This was more than just passion
I never knew what true ecstasy was
Until I found it with you
You make my body tremble
With even the slightest touch
But when it becomes rougher and harder
I understand what it is like
For two souls to come together as one
Guided by the hands of pure intimacy

With mercy and goodness
Love ever lasting
Joy is the essence of Jesus
Who cares for us

With Power to take
Every sorrow from me
With joy to show
The way to eternity

With hope for forgiveness
To be drawn to the Saviour
Who watches over me
Keeping me in His arms

With the victory, with His majesty
Claiming the power of this world
The universe knows the way Jesus
Is present rejoicing because He is Lord

With faith to believe and hope
To receive the goodness and all
That we need from the Lord
To be whole and refined by His blood

With His promise to help us
Having faith and to trust Him
Walking triumphantly every day
In the glorious presence of God

I know how it is that I felt
But it was not a frozen heart
Nor did it melt
There was no need for stolid strength
Or ponds for weeping
It was only how I am
Refusing to live falling apart on the inside
Or unmoved by a changing life
I cannot give darkness any more length
Or make stones for keeping
But what I had in my heart
Was the stillness where prayers once knelt
And the whispering sounds of a new winters start

all work and no pay
makes jack a poor boy

all jack and no play
and jill is full of laughter

all jill and no say
makes jack a play boy

all work and no play
and jill came tumbling after
reminds me of requiem for a dream, for some reason

On my journey Rock,
between the ranges and the sea,
I am both ocean wave and cloudy sky.
By mountain and by lake, I pass you by.

Oh River of the outer skin,
I am of the fires within.
Waiting by your frothy River breath
Don’t let my stillness speak to you of death,

Rock, I’m light and laughter, life and song
You are hard, unyielding stone,
Standing by my side and so alone.

Yes River, I am stone, but no I’m not alone.
We are planetary bone
and we hold you as you ride
In your course,
as a mother holds her child.
I saw a rock standing beside a huge river and wondered about the conversation they might have and which it would be nice to see carved on the rock. I created the conversation in this poem.

Females and males are one in the world,
although that is not the belief that has been furled.
We are told that one gender is better than the other,
it seems it's just one stereotype; one after another.

Equality can become realised if only we believe
and take the initiative to take action and achieve.
Why shouldn't men and women be treated the same?
To have equal rights and equal pay, that should really be our aim.

Men, gender inequality is your issue too,
although you may not agree, I'm afraid it is true.
You should have the right to express your emotions and be what you please,
You should not be pulled back by stigma, but instead be who you are at ease.

Instead of fighting, we should be pulling together,
and make this journey a joint endeavor.
We are of equal value if only we open our eyes,
at the heart of change is where we become most wise.

Now or never? If not us then who?
the interest in this movement must come through.
Equality is not a privilege but a human right,
all genders on the spectrum should be able to shine bright.

I want you to teach me,
put the pencil in my hand and show me how to write.

Show me how to color the past instead of erasing it.

Teach me to love myself, In the way you love me.

Show me where I went wrong, then tell me to turn right.

Teach me smile more and cry a less.

Show me what I don't see,
Protect my eyes from what I shouldn't.

Make me laugh in the midst of my tears.

Teach me to forget why I was sad.

Show me how to conquer the pain.

Tell me what you want, and how you're gonna get it.

Show me why I should trust you,
Then,
teach me how.
