One soul can stray, split in two,
Lost through time, unsure what’s true.
Yet in the end, we’re one same mould,
Forever bound, a story retold.
Sometimes it feels that we have lost a part of ourselves, only to find it hidden deep within.

Alone with thoughts that spin and bind,
Prisoner of an anxious mind.
Worried of change, afraid to start,
Seeking a match to calm the heart.

For all we long for is someone near,
To build us up, to make things clear—
A shared embrace, a bond that’s true,
To lift each other and see it through.

For bonds can heal, but wounds remain,
A tender dance of joy and pain.
Yet through the storm, we rise, we find,
A peace within the restless mind.

Fear
The first dark breath we take,
a shadow that grows as we learn its name.
It lives in quiet corners,
where thoughts echo back our doubts,
and we wonder—are we truly alone?

Afraid of what’s lost, afraid to hold on,
we spin in loops of overthought,
making prisons from our own doubts.
How strange it is to long for touch,

to carry the weight of endless what-ifs,
a reel of past and future fears,
afraid to step forward, afraid to let go.

But somewhere beyond this haze of worry,
beyond the walls we’ve built so high,
a light breaks through, soft and true.
And deep down I know, one day I’ll find you—
So I can say, I got you;
everything’s gonna be okay.
Fear—
why do we let it grow?
Born without, yet taught to know,
Of futures that might never be,
Shadowed by what we cannot see.

I won’t be my best every day—
Some days my thoughts will run away,
And nights will find me tangled in doubt,
Here, but distant; present, but checked out.

There will be moments I’m a lot to hold,
A storm to weather, a story retold.
I don’t blame those who step aside,
It takes a rare heart to stay for the ride.

But if you choose to stay, to be near,
To face the rough with the smooth and clear,
I’ll meet you there with all I am—
Imperfect, true, and always loyal to all of you.
