You taste like the first sip
Of a bitter coffee
Like the first warm
after a winter storm

When I’m gone, walk my dog on the beach in the early morning.
Let him see me in the sunrise, feel me in the pulling tide, smell me in the salty winds.

Spent so long thinking I'm hard
Cruel and calloused
Cold to the touch
That when you soften me up
I spill at the seams
Soon enough I'll melt into your touch
And be forever undone
I'm okay with that
You make me like being soft
I can't get out the words that I want.
We meet again in
the last hour of dawn
deathbed creaking;
ravens croaking;
I said:
not yet, not yet!
my candle flickers -
not yet, not yet!
free your words-
You said:
it’s the eleventh hour;
your pen will bleed-
tear and anger;
your melody will be-
forgotten in the rain;
your scent will linger-
six feet under;
your wisdom will be-
trapped in the quicksand-
of your dear Sisyphus;
your beauty will be-
fed to scavenging worms;

you could have been
a phenomenal maiden.

it’s the eleventh hour
deathbed creaking;
ravens croaking;
too late, too late.
Don't let your dreams die with you.
Kiss me softly
Under the deep blue sea
And make the whole world stop and see kissing under the sea and
Embrace me and don't let go
And I no longer have to float all
Alone or adrift at sea and
The love you have injected
Into me and my darling Angel
You are the light of my life
And every day I promise to love you my beautiful wife.

-elixir-
Empty roads and hearts of stone,
show the leaves left unturned.
The blank canvas yearning for colours
left waiting endlessly on the easel.
The tides that once were high in spirit,
now lay flat on the shores of the land.
Three baby birds
Sit closely together
On a baby branch
Amused by a pink blossom
The first baby bird curiously gazed
The second one caught off guard
A little smirk above its tender beak
The third bird looks in the direction opposite of all
Maybe it spotted the mother bird
With worms in her beak
Happy it looked on
Just ready to eat
