Saving grace

I kept my heart under my coat
trying not to touch by hand of cold
no one ever tried it to hold,
until one night someone called...

a voice with a peaceful sound
lifting me up from the ground
I'm wondering how he found,
a stranger in sadness was drowned

with the short period of time
we have talked about lifetime
things are starting to shine...
God, is this already the sign?

I've been afraid to open the door,
but he waited and sat on the floor
he called my name once more
and said I wont let go.

This stranger became my saving grace,
he took his matches and burned the place.
with the eyes of hunters we had raced,
we left the dark room without a trace.

He knows the worst thing in me
but he said just let it be,
together we will flee
and the whole world will see.

Assurance is not on our hands
maybe we dont know God's plan
but together we will stand,
and leave our footprints on the sand.

Echoes of ghostly spectres.
Haunted willows trenched in terror.
Smearing smiles with blackened sulphur.
Beckoning all that dare to wonder.

Cast your sins and pray for mercy.
Instead of casting stones like some Pharisee.
Beware the seas when they turn ******.
Trials and tribulations more terrible than Monday’s.

Death the only thing that awaits.
Wondering if you’ll see the pearly gates.
As shadows bubble in the lake.
Creepy music, where monsters wait.
Sun over the mountains shines
The rose bush stands aplenty reds, since June

In July it rains, the season, like the year somewhat changed

Tea and coffee not the same
Nothing lasts forever, not even the change

August and September are soon to come
And they will bring rain

Will make a rainbow
That will shine out of the windowpane
She wishes she’s missed,
She tried to wrap her arms around me,
No, I’m happy without her,

She must let me be,
But the more she tries doesn’t deter
Her. The Darkness
