We are here to endure.
As he grew he looked and desired,
others had more and he was tired.
Possession became his love and soul,
all those heaps could never fill the hole.
Glimpse the depts to find the cure.
We are here to Endure.

What did they do to deserve what they get?
His heart ached, he could never forget.
He wanted it more, he deserved much better.
He made his mind a filthy place to litter.
Pat your shoulder and reassure.
We are here to Endure.

Shunned by the universe,
he rose in a heroic verse.
Thought everyone else was bleak,
to himself did he lie and cheat.
Admit that you're insecure.
We are here to Endure.

He was hurt and he was blamed
he was never reclaimed.
At every turn he became aggressive.
Offended world would misconceive.
Repent, forgive and feel secure.
We are here to Endure.

Pressure drove him to frustration;
His yearning became his passion.
Disordered desire bind him in slavery.
Suffered he, in shame, sadness and misery.
Redirection is a manure.
We are here to Endure.

Low self esteem put him through hell,
disquiet apatite became his shell.
Departed away from the Divine.
Impoverishment and disgrace is a sign.
Abstinence will seize epicure.
We are here to Endure.

Failure left him without traction;
murmuring the songs of wishful imagination.
Dreams he sought are his anchor,
glued to the couch, he just hanker.
Without diligence you're immature.
We are here to Endure.

Time well spent
Darkness was all around me,
And I like a castle on a quicksand;
Forced summon all my chi
To pull myself together on a firm land.

I lead my life to avoid regrets
With my spirits high as a kite.
But life has its way to clear it's debts
told me I'm worth less than a spite.

Grateful to my mate
Who showed me a way out;
Snuck through a rusty gate
Beyond the mansion of self doubt.

Held on to a wee bit of hope
And showing no sign of standing still.
I rode on as a mechanism to cope
Like a variegated flower of squill.

Didn't take long to learn,
Past is not a ghost haunting my present;
It made my belief stern.
It was time well spent.

Tears of Joy
On my platform high,
I wonder watching the sky;
To feel what you felt, i try.
Asking myself, why?

He was a wretched fly;
A crafty fox with a sly.
Or did he change? He was awry.
He cheated. That i can't justify.

He, the most trusted allay.
With whom you imagined a world of joy.
Fought your world until you were bone dry.
The truth revieled when the end was nigh.

And that's when a part of you die.
With eyes like the sky in July;
I can feel your anguished cry.
Your trust he did crucify.

Tears were your lullaby.
And with rage you calcify.
Soon your values petrify.
Honesty is hard to come by.

Back then, I wasn't nearby;
Wishing I was, tears fill my eye.
A chill climbs up my neck as I lie;
It's my heart's howling outcry.

Not anymore. I'll not stand by.
Speaking to you in my mind's eye;
I promise, the next time you cry,
They'll be the tears of joy.

Promise Me
Promise me you'll stay.
And I'll write about you all my life.
Not about your soulful eyes which led me astray.
Neither your hair with which I'd like to play.
Or that smile which hides and betray.
I won't write about that which decay.

I'll write about your madness which has no shelflife.
About your teasing of which I'm afraid.
About your victories in games and my strife.
About your mischievous mysteries a rife.

I'll write about the ghostly thoughts whom I can't evade.
About the prickly pain of a needle in my brain.
Without you my heart's raging a crusade.
In every chunk of me you parvade.

I'll write, you're the one from whom I can't abstain.
You're the ocean,  the very reason for rivers to flow and unit.
You're the land, clouds travel to be soaked and rain.
You're always here as if a legerdemain.

I'll write that by writing about you I've learnt to write.
I'll write so much that the reader will fall in love with your light.
Reading about you will be he's apatite.
Everytime he bows to worship at night
he'll pray to know if our story was complete and set right
So, Promise me because only about you I want to write.

Flow
To go with the flow, is what you wish.
You're as good as a dead fish.
Swishing and sloshing you'll soon vanish.

Oh! Boy, you ain't one who churn and learn.
You've got it all figured, your believes are Stern,
Unturn, stubborn.
A boulder that stands strong.
Just as lifeless. But you stand among
those who first smoothen and then fade in Oblivion.

Its not too hard to catch on,
Your pain and strain are foregone.
Become the flow. Soft and tender.
If obstructed, you're a passionate defender.
You come in through the rain.
Dashing thru the rough terrain.
You give life. You're not in vain.

Why Love
Wise sages and  poets of old
Endeavoured to answer a question
Mystic and enigmatic
What is love?  They asked and told
They scrawled and brawled is it stoic or erratic?

Some said it's virtue
and others: a vice
Some told it's a selfless act
and others: it's a selfish pact
Some pointed it's eternal
Others: it's an impulse
Some argued it's a deity
others: it's the satan

Thinkers answered it with a riddle,
Pondering over which I twiddle.
'Iron is a piece of refined earth
Sword, shield, pen are given birth.'

I, a meager ant with no girth
How can I answer why I love?
I've just a word for what it's worth.
Intent is not to shove.
The poem is trying to say love is like a piece iron what it is made into depends on the intention of the maker.
Love is a virtue and a vice. Its given a shade by the intention of the person who loves.

My Dark Room
Sitting here in my dark room,
Under the warm sheets of gloom.

I remember what it's like,
On a mountain hike.
I can see the reassuring Green,
The cool sensation that it brings.
Touched by your smile my queen.

Spending the nights under the sky,
Over the grass I hear a lullaby.
The melody of your eye.

I remember the intimidating forest
It drained me to the fullest,
Need the gental warmth of your embrace.

Choked by the painful fume,
I can feel the void of doom,
Sitting here in my dark room.
