Different

Mom,
It is a different kind of pain
It is a different kind of sadness
It is a different kind of happiness
It is a different kind of excitement
It is a different kind of crying
It is all different than what you think...
I am in more pain then you will ever know. But I will continue to keep saying it until you believe how different I really am.
This is my first poem and I'm kind of scared

Bay
The man
who kept
his emotions
at bay
drowned
in them
all
one
winters
day
I only asked you to consider
Giving me a chance
A solitary moment
For your love and romance
Your eyes tell me a story
With just a single glance
So again I ask you for your hand
To stand with me and dance

Listen.
Hear the sky burst open
and cover the world in emerald pearls.

Feel.
Embrace the glorious chaos
from which new life is born.

Go.
And wherever your path may take you,
tread softly.
I bid you open up your heart
and tread softly,
for the world might be willing to follow you home.
Poetry is magic
Suicide is tragic
Dolly Parton's face is plastic
Poetry is magic
what is magic, can be tragic, can be plastic

Crush

Late night texts
Sleepy eyes
Small smiles
Butterflies

Stolen moments
Held inside
Beating heart
Stupefied

~

Left alone
Tear filled eyes
Chapped lips
Scarred thighs

Empty promises
Cast aside
Broken heart
Terrified

to my velvet black.
Grey is slack.
And I’m not that.

Don’t add white
to my fiery red.
Pink is girlie-
‘Nough said!

Don’t add white
to my dark navy.
Don’t do light.
I’m not chicken gravy!

crossroads, tunnels, mazes
I found, myself lost
in myself...

a little girl looking out
in a woman's eye

trying so hard but
too weak for this world..

I am lost, lost inside
myself

Goodbye to the tears rolling down my cheeks
Goodbye to the bleeding through my sheets
Goodbye to fighting a battle I'll never win.
Goodbye to a world full of sin.
Goodbye to a hopeless night.
Goodbye...I lost my fight.
Yeah idk This just kind of came out of my brain. I hope you guys like it!
