Dreaming

I ponder after midnight
What it would be like
To take the first step
In a right direction.
Since I want so immensely.
I want to live until I die,
Breathe until my lungs collapse,
Draw until the world’s on paper,
Pray until someone hears me,
Give until I have nothing left,
Laugh until nothing’s funny,
Dance until the music stops,
Love until my heart breaks,
Sing until my voice fades,
Learn until I understand,
And run until the night falls.
Life is difficult.
In order to begin,
I need to wake up.

they say we're asleep
until we fall in love
but dreams are the only
way I get to see your face
or touch your skin
life became the nightmare
awakening, impossible
when you're gone for good
love has left me

Do not weep for me
For I feel peace and freedom
I feel immense love which expands far beyond this world
I now understand everything

Do not weep for me
Rather, be still and breathe through your pain
See how my death has opened your heart and your mind
To see all the love, courage and strength within you..
