Farewell, my love
Only the sky above keeps us close now
Love me now like you loved me then
I can live with that
But I can't live without being your friend

Time is short
Just like what we had, isn't it?
There's nothing that,
I would change
I just wish it wasn't different now

Please come back
Leave the future behind

Farewell, my love
I don't know where I'll go
If things get bad
And I'm not back
Find someone who won't make you sad

If all is well
And I'm still gone, don't let me in
Hold on tight
To what feels right
And darling, it's alright if it ain't me

He's a Storm

He swept through town like a storm
And all night long I danced in his rain
His lightning lit up the skies
Brought the flowers back to life
I laid in the clouds and fell in love
It's drought again now that he's gone
The flowers wilt
The grass is burnt
My heart is empty like a hollow tree
The clap of his thunder filled me
And my ache grows stronger day by day
I look to the sky while I day dream
I see him in every passing cloud
Waiting for the storm again

I will wait for the storm again

The tea kettle is whistling
I hear the toaster go pop
Birds are happily chirping
I wonder what they have to say
Gonna be a beautiful morning
All is well for me today

In my bathrobe drinking my tea
I put my face to the blue sky
As I watch the world pass by
I see fluffy clouds in the distance
Playing hide and seek with me
All is well for me today

Sirens scream in the distance
Someone is mowing their lawn
A smell so familiar from my memories
Warm winds blow in slowly
Spring is finally upon us again
All is well for me today

Normal days are hard to find in my little world

There's something about the ever-moving sea,
Whose shimmering waves brighten every face,
Whose calming sounds bring joy to every ear that hears

There's something about the forever changing beach,
Whose soft sand holds treasures from the deep blue,
Whose sparkling granules clump together to create vast castles

There's something about the ongoing sky,
Whose blue tints are home to the warm, shining sun,
Whose colors magnify themselves onto the gorgeous sea

So look upon this picture and smile,
Because each figure is a piece of a puzzle,
Forming a complex but brilliant masterpiece.
